Announcing the Xbox Live Mystery Gamer
What is it? It's a chance for Xbox Live members to play people from the Xbox Live product group and win an Xbox Live T-Shirt!
Users will look for the Mystery Gamer who is using the ultra exclusive Gamertag: XboxLive.
If they play the Mystery Gamer and win, they'll grab a super cool Xbox Live T-shirt!
To kick things off I'll post the day and time when the MG will be playing along with the 2 or 3 titles they will be playing... after that the MG could be playing any game at any time!
(Note: You will NOT see the Mystery Gamer playing in games that allow you to play under a name other then your gamertag (like Unreal 2) ...I don't want anyone spoofing the Mystery Gamer)
To kick off the program, the first Mystery Gamer appearance is this Wednesday night (6/9) after 8pET/5p PT. The Mystery Gamer will be playing Rallisport2, Project Gotham 2 and Race Driver 2. In the future, the Mystery gamer could be on anytime...anywhere.

Q: How will members find the MG?
A: The MG could host a game, or just roam around the service and match into games…it's all random. You should play and host as many games as you can to increase your odds of running into the Mystery Gamer.
Q: What is the gamertag of the mystery gamer?
A: It is the ultra exclusive XboxLive
Q: Who is the mystery gamer?
A: The mystery gamer is any person on the Xbox product groups who is playing behind the official Mystery Gamer gamertag (XboxLive.) Even J Allard has agreed to be a Mystery Gamer!
Q: Can users add XboxLive to their friends list?
A: No. Any friends requests will be denied...since I don't want anyone to be able to find the Mystery Gamer.
Q: Isn't the Mystery Gamer just Major Nelson?
A: No....it's folks from the Xbox product team. Some are not that good at gaming (they are better at writing code) so you have a chance at winning!
Q: Ok, I beat the MG...How do I get my T-Shirt?
A: The MG will be recording all the gamertags that beat him....and s/he will give you instructions on how to get your T-Shirt when you are gloating about your win in the post game celebration.
