what are the positives and what are the negatives? does it work like the tetris that we know of or is there a little tweak to it so that it is a little bit more of a rip off.

Well, whats the Tetris that you know of? Are you thinking NES style? Why don't you download the demo and try it out?

i mean i tried out the demo and it was okay. but with the full game, is there enough of a umph to get me feeling good about the purchase. i mean tetris to me is that game that you can play for hours without getting tired of it whether its on the phone, calculator, gameboy, whatever.

I think it's worth getting, it's tetris. Granted marathon isn't endless anymore, it's still fun to play. Multi-player is fun but there are times when you can't find a game. Although I am partially biased. I've been playing tetris for about 20 years.

Depends on how much you really like Tetris. Personally, I bought the game and don't think a simple game of Tetris should cost $10. The aquarium part of the game is a useless gimmick. But Tetris is fun every now and then.
