Commanders: Attack of the Genos has got to be one of the better games on Xbox Live! Its simple grid movement and turn-based play is addictive...and very familiar, though I can't figure out why? The little roads and buildings, the various units, it all reminds me of something from long ago on the Commodore 64, but I can't remember the game. Sure, if not for the turn-based play, it's a lot like Rise of Nations during the later ages, but I have some distant memory of another game with 2-dimmensional top-down graphics and lots of checker shading on a black-and-white display that played much the same. Anyone have an idea?
