Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars

Online Community

I have played plenty of games out there, and I know that the best online games are by far not the most played online (in my opinion). Games like Shadowrun and Team Fortress 2 are a lot like this game, but they both unfortunately have a small online community. That leads me to worry that this game also has few people playing online. Before I buy Quake wars I just want to know: What is the average number of people playing/games running in the evenings and on the weekends, and if anyone has played Team Fortress 2 then how would they compare the online community of ETQW to TF2?
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure that ET:QW has the same cult following as games like Shadowrun and TF, but I do know that recently a buddy of mine purchased this game and much like Shadowrun, the online gameplay can be substituted with any number of bots.  The easy and medium bots are ridiculously inept, however we have quickly found that the hard bots, while sometimes not the smartest, definitely give us a challenge in large numbers.  My enjoyment of this game was furthered even more when I found out the online achievements can be acquired with only 1 other online player. Now we have some challenges to strive for while still being competetive. I am still impressed by the graphics in this game even after not having played for 6 months. The controls, especially for the vehicles, are easy to master and the variety of weapons and upgrades between the Strogg and GDC allow for a variety of gameplay strategies. In my opinion this game would be worth the $20 you can probably purchase it for, if just for the single-player campaign, objective, and stopwatch modes alone. If you're looking for someone to play with, give me an invite and I would be more than happy to play.

I just picked this up for $10 new at EB.  I'll try it out tonight and hopefully find a friendly Quaker or two.

Krug,
really, asking for stats would just give you nothing more than opinions.  the only ranking i've ever seen is major nelson's top ten games played and i'm pretty sure this is no where near.
