Sorry for the easy question, is there a hidden path on every level? Some of these are hard to find and I don't want to waste my time looking for ones that aren't even there.

Not really, there are still shortcuts but they are not classed as hidden paths by the game. You can think outside the box and cut times big. Just gotta be creative. I think the hidden paths for the achievements you should get without really trying. They are not too hard to find are usually very obvious. IE. The material you break through with metal ball etc.
