hello, does anybody knows if there are plans for making another bsg game?? I mean not like the arcade type of game, but like the old xbox title, a space shooter, it would be great considering the 360 capabilities!.

According to the producers of the series there were definate plans for a video game and other products.  That may have changed with the announcement that this is the final season for BSG though.  They were talking of doing a game where you spent some of the time in the fighters and some of the time as a first person or third person perspective so that you weren t always in a fighter sim/shooter..  All I can say is lobby for it in the Sci Fi forums if you want it  so that they know there is a demand for it.  The producer does read the forums there and occasionally responds.

BSG is made for a Descent Freespace type space shooter game.  The sheer size of ships and scope of some of the battels makes for incredible level design. And they are really underestimating their fanbase.  It doesnt have to tie in with the end of the series, but if its done right it could increase awarness of the show after it ends and increase DVD sales.  and since all scifi wants is money thats a good thing for them.

That would be great I've been wanting a good BG game for a long time. I meet people all the time who love the shows and are way bummed is in its final season, many people say its the best produced show out there. My waiter at PF Chang's the other night would just go on and on about the show. I saw the Razor 2 hour show tonight on SCIFI it was great.

which sci fi forum? For the sci fi channel?

I do hope they make one...I'd love to see a BSG version of X-Wing Alliance...loved that game

Love the shows, both old and new, would really love a good BSG game.

I am sooooo bummed that this will be the final season! I own the first season in HD, the second season on DVD, waiting for the 3rd season to become available to buy. I got my brother, my ex, and my girlfriend all hooked on BSG. Back on topic though, if they made the game right it would be a great game I think, done wrong and it would enrage the fanbase......

Its a great show (second to Firefly though lol) i own seasons 1-3 on DVD (half way through 2.5 right now) because I never have time to actually watch it on TV. Wish they did make a full featured title out of this franchise, it has a huge fanbase already
