Garry Pankhurst, a talented programmer from the UK, has written a very faithful adaptation of the classic arcade game "Zaxxon".  If you would like to see "Zaxxon" come to XBox Live Arcade, please voice your support here.

I'm not sure Zaxxon is a great choice for Xbox live. I own the arcade version, but it's not such a great game. It's more famous for having diagonal scrolling and isometric graphics rather than being a "fun" game to play.

Even so, if it was coming to Xbox live them I'd prefer an emulated version of the original, not a remake.

Regardless, if somebody bothered to put together an emulation of the Zaxxon hardware to run on a 360 console, then they should dump Zaxxon and play Congo Bongo (Tip-Top in UK) instead.

Think Donkey Kong with Zaxxon viewpoint. It's a much, much better game IMHO

YAY! Zaxxon is now available from Sega in "Sonic's Ultimate_Genesis Collection". This compilation offers over 40 games Sega Genesis/Sega Master System games and also includes arcade emulated versions of Alien Syndrome, Congo Bongo, Fantasy Zone, Shinobi, Space Harrier, and... Zaxxon!
