Skipping the Intro Video and Saving Progress

New to Xbox 360, I've bought Black (for xbox) and loaded the compatibility patch but getting a bit narked because I can't work out how to skip the intro video.

Can't work out how to save progress either.  I've created a profile and autosave is on, but how do I save my progress or is this only possible at specific points in the game?

Re: Skipping the Intro Video and Saving Progress

I noticed that you can not skip the intro video on the 360, you can on your old xbox.  Has problably something to do with the emulation software on the 360.

The game saves only when you finished a level. So it means if you would shut down your 360 in the middle of a level, you lose all progress.

Re: Skipping the Intro Video and Saving Progress
Actually, you can't skip it on original Xbox until after you have played through it at least once. Other games have similar quirks such as Doom3 where if you have put in at least 3 other games since playing it last, it will force you to sit through the most of the demo before getting to the start menu. Although with Doom3, it tells you "loading" if you try to skip. Maybe Black needs to load data to your cache if it hasn't been played in a while. Hope this helps.

I can't believe you have to sit through the longest intro everytime you want to play the game... It's like... Hmmmm, I feel like playing the game "Black" in about 10 minutes.... I better start the game now... That's Garbage!
