Hey everybody,
Unbowed by the disappearance of CuldceptCentral.com, we're restarting Season 5 of Culdcept Saga over in the CuldceptSaga.com forums... We've got about 23 folks so far. Here's how it works:
You head over to the forums and sign up for the league. Pick a map to be your "home" map. Like a sports team, you'll play half your matches there. (Note: Two teams cannot have the same map, so please look at what's been taken.) Once everyone has signed up, the leaguemeister, PB49er, will announce a schedule each week. You have a week to get in touch with your opponent and report results. Once the regular season is done, we go to playoffs.
Rules are no E cards, random lands, 7000 TG limit, 60 second turns, sudden death off. All matches are 1-on-1.
It's a lot of fun and a great way to see what other folks are doing with the game. Competition can be quite cutthroat, though, so it's recommended that you've played through the single-player campaign a bit and have a genereal idea of what all the cards do. Novices (and even players who are quite good) tend to lose a lot. So be prepared to go down in defeat. To my knowledge, no one's run the table to win a title.
