Hi

I'm having problems lately with the above message. I got that few days ago when I tried to download the Call of Duty: World at War demo.  And now I got it again while I tried to download the new Snowblind maps for Gears of War 2. I was able to download the Flashback and Combustible map packs just fine. I have a Swedish Xbox Live account and I'm living in Ireland. What could be the problem here ? Doesn't Microsoft want my money ?

Same thing here. I made this gamertag while I lived in the US, but am back in Canada now. It won't let me download them either This is ridiculous... I have the points on this account, but by making a Canadian account I won't. Come on Microsoft get your act together!

Hi. I got like the same problem. I live in Norway, but I have UK account (I used to live there). There was no problem with other packs for GoW2, but now, I cannot download snowblind, the same was with CoD5 demo. Any ideas?

Same damn problem here , the weird thing is that my cousin and some friends o mine have downloaded the maps of COD waw and gears 2 without any problem and im the only with this problem , dont know why , xbox support cant do a sh*t about this.

: my story......this account itz arms 12345 is American made by an american friend who wanted to give me Microsoft points but they wont work on my real account iTz ArMs(cause they're American and im Irish)
so i have enough MS points on this account to download it but it wont let me cause they aren't available?? wtf?
i can download them on my other account my real one but not this one(BTW i know i can because i tried but it was not my xbox being used so now my mate has them and i don't and re downloading wont work because then only my real account can use them(i have mates with account that like to use these things too)so i need to get the license to use them my self.....but i can't will the region lock be turned off soon??

Well i'm from Bulgaria and the people here have the same problem. I can't download anything what is rated 17+ . Why? I'm 22 years old ... and most of my games are rated 18+ .. what da f**k is going on here. I cannot understand why they rated some map packs .. its just a maps.I have the Gears Of War 1 and 2 and can't download even the themes for them.We want to give them our money .. they don't want it.I think that they must fix this problem .. it's unfare only the americans can download this map packs ... please do something about this.If i have the game,i've made my choice to smash heads and to watch this. Why you restricted us to have fun ??

yep same problem has occured here im very annoyed that i cant download the new snowblind maps for gears 2 but i could download the combustible fine. ?????? i started xbox live in australia and now im living back in england. this its whats the problem i think and it should be fixed.

Same here.  American in Korea and can't download map packs. 

Same problem here, why are they so slow fixing it? It has been 2 days allready. Only countries not allowed to download the snowblind map pack are Germany and Japan, so its stupid that they are blocking the rest off europe.

I lived in Belgium when i started my acount and live in Holland again now, but both countries are allowed to download the maps. So i dont see why they would block it? I have downloaded the flashback maps fine a couple off months ago. And i allready lived in Holland again.

Cant donwnload the flashback map pack on gow2 with the included code.
Can't download the COD5 map pack either...
They could simply resolve this problem by allowing us to change the country where we live in the XBL account, we can change our adress but not the country...
Is there an online petition about that?there should be one...

Hi , Blah blah blah same story i live in scotland UK i have a irish account but can't get the map pack,all my friends have it. What really gets me is i bought 4200 ms points because i was really looking forward to the release now i just feel sick, i must say though i find comfort in the fact i am not the only one out there. We should all get some sort of discount when this is finally put right.Come MICROSOFT sort it out.

After 2 days ive finally downloaded the GOW 2 and COD5 map packs - give it another go peeps you might drop lucky

Sorry forgot to add i downloaded the map pack video on the 30/3, now i cant even download gamer pics  or any other gow2 videos, no gow2 downloads really whats going on i have flashback and combustables so whats changed, very very odd and annoying

Same issue here. I'm from Saudi Arabia and couldn't download the Call of Duty: World at War demo neither any of Gears 2's map packs. In fact, I got the same problem with Hidden Fronts back in Gears 1. The weird thing is my friend lives in another city and he's been able to get all these packs with no problems at all :/ I don't think we'll get any response to this because it's been going around since Hidden Fronts and no changes so far.

I'm living in the Dominican Republic and this is the first time that I've had a problem with downloading anything from the XBOX.  I set up my account while I was in the USA, btw.

I've been able to buy any and all xbla games I've wanted or got for free (Megaman 9, Geometry Wars, Uno, Braid, etc). 

I also downloaded and bought the Map Packs from Gears of War 1 (the free map pack and the "Hidden Fronts" map pack).  I did all this in the Dominican Republic.

Now in Gears of War 2, I downloaded the Golden Lancer and the Flashback map pack...but I was in the USA at the moment.

Now I'm in the Dominican Republic and I can't buy the Snowblind map pack.

I don't buy these kinds of things (map packs/ weapons / etc) because I think it is a rip off (I guess playing on the PC all of these years and knowing that on the PC, these kinds of things come out frequently and for free) but Gears is the ONLY game that has changed my stance on this and I have downloaded map packs.  Hell, I couldn't even enjoy the Hidden Fronts map pack from Gears 1 because 1 month after I downloaded them, my 360 broke and it took me some 8 months to manage to get it to the US to then ship it to Microsoft.  So now I go and am going to get this new map pack (not the combustible, since it contains too few maps) and this happens.

sheesh.  Please, Microsoft and Epic, please allow us to download this.

It's not Microsofts fault, so quit blaming them. They have no control over it. It's the countries ratings boards that won't rate the content, therefore making it unavailable until it gets rated. Blame your countries for being lazy, not MS.

I have the same problem.

I live in Egypt and my country isn't listed as an xbox-live supporter. But I was still able to create a gold account, and MS accepted my money gracefully, but now I am forbidden to buy the DLC for the games that I purchased ?

MS should just keep this whole region-lock thing to movies/Tv show/music...etc. Keep the games DLC and demos region free.

I have the same problem as everyone else. I live in a country that is not supported but i somehow managed to download the flashmap map pack and the new snowblind map pack to 99%. Now microsoft took my money but i didnt get their product! Isnt that illegal? I mean its one thing not to be able to get the maps but when i pay for somethimg i expect to get it or get my money back!!! Any tips? Should i email someone at microsoft and get my points back or was i robbed?
