i have been stuck on this for months dont know if theres a glitch on my game or what,i get to the bit where you slide down from above smash the ice thingy no probs but the next bit where you climb up and then to the left seem to be impossible to reach no matter how hard i try PLEASE HELP i looked for a walkthrough but this seems to be the only game without one and its driving me nuts

Hold your left joystick in the direction you want to swing to. You will rock back and forth. After the third rocking, hold the B button.

I was also stuck on this and still is.  I've tried all kinds of things and nothing works.  He just keeps falling short.
