I just bought it, played it for about half an hour.  Its ok.  Castle Crashers is much better......this game is also much harder than CC.

I'd say this game is well worth the five bucks that it's going for on sale now. The multiplayer fun alone is huge, not to mention the hilarity of the levels and combos you can do.  It's a great brawler for the XBLA library. Castle Crashers is in a league of its own and rightly deserves all the positive attention it has gotten and is well worth the price for that as well.

By hard is it one hit kill? Like metal slug or contra??

Yes you use up a life with one hit, but every weapon power-up you get also gives you a shield that will take a couple hits, and you have a lot of continues (and can get extra lives if your score and style is good per level).  Since you can also start any level that you have cleared over in a new game, the fact that one hit = one death isn't that big of a deal once you get used to the controls and attack methods, and even less so when you're playing coop (which is clearly the most fun way to play!).

i think it is of course. I bought the original ps2 version and it was so much fun playing coop with my cousin. Its extremely hard, but htats what makes it awesome. The sense of accomplishment when u beat a level. Its especially even more fun now with online 4 player coop. Its a great game. Play it for fun though, not for the achievements as u will get more frustrated instead of having fun.

I loved Alien Hominid since it was a New Grounds flash game years ago.  To play a full console game is kind of surreal.

I love the game, but it is hard.  I had to set it on Easy and could only get through two or three levels at a time, the final boss took another start.  If you don't mind difficult games, then this is worth $5 for sure.  But I think that $10 is too much for the game.
