I had the exact same issue. I googled how to clean the cache (xx, rb, lb, xx) on the HDD screen. The maintanence came up for about half a second. Still no dice. I tried restarting the console as well as logging in/out of live. Clearing the cache didn't appear to do anything.

ugggg getting the same error to I wanna play halo 2!
