Created Player is Gone!

Hey all,

I created myself in the game 2 times, and both times my created player disappears once I shut my system off. I clicked save squads and profiles but when I go looking for him he is gone! I am doing manager mode and would like a created player to put in my team (Atletico Mineiro).
