Is it just me but the graphics in PGR4 really look bad?
They are a lot worst than in PGR3 IMO. When going in options and graphics, there is nothing I can do to tweak them either. So why is this option there anyway?
I'm new to PGR4 and am very deceived by the way this game looks.

You are kidding me right? The graphics in PGR4 are superb!  What TV are you using?

I have played GT 5 prologue on the PS3 and I would say PGR 4's graphics are better.
Here is a list why the graphics are good:

• Dynamic weather effects are realistc, espesh the slick on the tarmac in rain.
• The textures of everything are pin sharp.
• The interior view is out of this world.  You can look down at your legs....come on!
• The replays are eye poppingly brilliant.
• You can stop the game anytime you want and take pics of your car and add cool effects.

Agreed with the above.  PGR4 graphics are pretty good, weather conditions are excellent aesthetically, and also in terms of gameplay as well (i.e. puddles and snow).

I also like the static effect when you slam a wall at high speed.

What stands out most for me though is the cars.  I love the attention to detail in the cars - Each has been credited with a simulation of how the cars are meant to feel in real life (i.e Ferrari perfectly balanced with a touch of oversteer where as the Bentley is just a big idiot that can't turn and has rubbish breaking). Furthermore, the cars look great with not a curve or vent missed, and has anybody mentioned how the cars sound?  Take part in a race with 7 other F50 GT's and listen to the howl.......

By the way, i love this game.  Easily my fav racer on the 360.

I trust you're using a HDTV with HDMI for your gaming needs, only this kind of setup will do any 360 game justice.

I think the view from behind the wheel of the F1-type car is awsome.  Really does give you a feel of what it would really be like to be driving it.  added to that the weather makes it even better.

My console is connected on my PC monitor (24 inch). Every game I own has superb graphics except PGR4.

Anyone can answer me as why there is nothing I can do to tweak them in the option settings?

I remember playing the demo version of this game and the graphics were fine. Now that I own the full version they completely s**ks! I have read somewhere that I should clear my cache because the latest update is responsible for this poor quality graphics but I haven`t tried that yet.

Mines on a 37", playing through a HDMI cable on 1080p settings.  Graphics are very good.

Try tweaking your settings via system settings in My Xbox on the dashboard.

Does any of you guys run this game with the latest update or not? Anyway, I cured the problem by clearing the cache on my console. Graphics are top notch now. All of this was due to this damn game update as I had read somewhere else. What a crazy patch that is.

Can't you read? I already said the problem was fixed by removing this stupid patch.

I like PGR4's graphics much more than the 3rd one's. I like the gameplay more than the graphics, though. But I always want to have as best graphics as possible because I'm a visual junkie :D
