Yes. When you are in a race and are standing in the row looking all stupid move your "cursor" to another real player. If the other person has their car for sale (it will say a price near the bottom right corner) you can click the right button to purchase the car. The other player can then decide whether to sell it or not.

Not only do you need to find someone online but they also have to be selling thier car, or you can win thier car in a pink slip race. If you are having trouble with sucky cars a pink slip win may be a bit of a chore.

If you are looking for people online check in league 6 (its the first of the pink slip leagues), there are usually a few people just itching to take your car.
