My friend never got this game on his hard drive, and since it's basically free, I don't see why they can't just put it up for free...

It is like a gift or privilege for people who purchase console with hard drive or hard drive that has the game for free;

And arcade consoles usually will come with disc that includes 5 arcade games and Hexic HD isn’t one of them.

Just got off the phone with XBL. Transferred twice. First person had no idea what I was talking about. Second person at least knew there were games called Hexic and Hexic 2. Third person was a "specialist" and eventually, after being put on hold a few times, gave me a code to download the game right away. Total 32 minute phone call. Just had to tell my name and gamertag.

Do we have to call, or is there an e-mail?

this is the second time i had to talk to xbox customer support about this issue, first they said 48hrs then no call so i called and then then ran out of codes for hexic (bunch of crap) so now i gotta wait 3-5 days for them to send it, i wish they would be/on the ball since theres alot of people wanting it back or atleast have the Supervisor/Managment get there act together. i think the people who have to wait a week ta two weeks should be compinsated with microsoft points seein we gotta wait for a stupid code for management

I haven't had any luck either. This is insane, they should just put it back on the marketplace.

You can buy it on the market place, the phone call is to verify whether you have the rights to recieve it free. Not all consoles included the game, to say everyone should get it is like saying we all deserve an Elite system even if we only paid fon Arcade version.

There's a little misinformation going around here. Hexic has never been and still isn't on the Marketplace - it's only ever been included on hard drives. Hexic 2 is available, I believe for 800MSP, but it's an entirely separate game.

They can't put it on the Marketplace because the whole point is that you only have it if you bought a hard drive - offering it to buy would go against that (although I agree at this point that it would hardly matter).

 It is avaailable on the market place, this quote contains the link. You wont find it on the console or the marketplace on this website but this link brings it up at a cost of 800 ms points.

You won't find that link on a search for Hexic, though. I probably should have said that it's not on the consumer-facing Marketplace - the only way to get that link is by going into the download history of someone who's successfully got the code from Support and downloaded it previously. I think I was one of the first to post that link in the thread, even. I believe it's 800 points because that's the default price for Arcade content and it was never changed, because it was never meant to be seen. There's tons of other stuff that's technically 'on Marketplace' that can only be accessed this way. The Day 1 Tactical Edge for CoD:WaW, the golden weapons for Gears 2, etc.

I just wanted to thank yall guy for making this topic. I got my Hexic HD back just a few minutes ago :)

According to this video, if you have a transfer cable you should be able to hook your Xbox HD to your PC and put it back on yourself with a few downloaded files:
