Is that the 360 behind the tv?
I'm no pro or anything of that sort but isn't it bad to keep it there, with all the heat coming out from the tv and the xbox? Wouldn't increase your chance of getting the RROD?

Not to mention the radiators directly behind it and to the side of it.

Crisp74 Yes, you are right; they barely show up in the pictures. There are two in the back on each side of the DVD case. Two on the sides that didn’t make it into the photo. You can see the three over the screen, but I must have moved the camera as they look like a blur; and the sub is on the left under the screen. I Envy your component rack. Nicely done.

how are those in walls working for you? what kind do you have? i love mine, my kid can't use them as toys or something to brace himself on while he learns to walk like the towers hidden in the closet now.  sound is not too bad either.  you should also check out Han SogonnaownU's set up, he has a custom rack also, in a nice cabinet.  you should consider one also, they are not cheap, but not so grossly overpriced as to discourage you.  i think the rack would be a great addition to your setup.

Agreed,
Simple and everything is in one place, plus looks clean.
I got all my stuff online, so if you decide to go with a rack, let me know.
Crisp74 gave me the idea for custom rack shelves. It made a huge difference in cooling and look.

hey Han, what website did you use? i just added another dtv recevier to my setup and have to get a new shelf made.  maybe the place you used is cheaper than my ht store's prices.  i put an lcd in my bathroom and kept the dtv in the closet with the rest of the rack. i'll post updated pics soon.

Very nice setup you've got there! I think my only recommendation would be to reposition your subs a bit if possible. When using multiple subwoofers the general rule of thumb is that asymmetry is your friend. Your subs seem to be quite symmetrical in relation to one another along those walls, but I could be wrong. Food for thought!

Appreciate the suggestions Falkon, Im thinking of moving one of my subs to the rear of the room to play with placement a tad, these SVS subs are huge. I'm running two of the SVS PB12/plus 2 subs and they are no joke; pure heavy weights for sure. I'll play with placement a tad bit more, I'm also using the Velodyne SMS-1 sub EQ which helps out tremendously.
You've just been thrashed.

I'm playing on a 50" Samsung DLP HLT downstairs and a 46" Sony BRAVIA LCD upstairs, both over HDMI.  I prefer the DLP's picture over the LCD.  Systems are in my sig.

I know...i hate how Sony doesn't slant the back of their center channels...but i hope to go Polk soon.

I play/watch everything from my bed, and the top of the center is actually just below the screen. It looks horrible in the pic, but it's perfect when i'm actually watching something.

Xbox is upstairs today.  Don't like the kids hogging my newly finished basement when I want to watch T.V.  When Modern Warfare II comes out you can bet it will be right back where I need it.  Everything is via HDMI.  Look no wires, thats how you hang your T.V kids!!!!

40" Samsung LCD (6 series), Zenith HTIB, Turtle Beach X3's (Which is what I use since my son is sleeping when I play), Chat pad, MS Wireless driving wheel. Nothing too crazy but gets the job done, and some.

You might want to go ahead and start your own thread in this forum, and be sure to include information about your budget, if you have a preference for small speaker or larger speakers, room size, etc.

Re: Post your AV Setups - Part 2
i'll be posting updated pics of my set up soon, i've added a new receiver to the rack and put a tv in the bathroom. i was actually seeking some advice regarding speakers for the bathrrom tv. i want to place one in the shower so i can hear what's going on when i watch the news in the am.

heres a pic of the shower area

http://s174.photobucket.com/albums/w84/flaco_nyc/HT/?action=view&current=iphone238.jpg

i would like to place the speaker to the left (in the picture) of the ceiling showerhead.  i have a very powerful extractor fan mounted just outside the shower on a motion sensor which keeps moisture from accumulating on the tv.  however, it won't work with the speaker as the moisture stays mostly trapped behind the shower doors.  i definitely do NOT want one of those surface mount outdoor speakers, only an inceiling.  does moisture affect speakers? i mean, if i seal the drywall opening with silicone and only the speaker cone is exposed, i'm guessing that over time water will degrade the material. but anyone know for sure?  does anyone know of a "waterproof" speaker that can go inceiling and sounds ok?

i also hope to get a new receiver for christmas with three zones.  i plan on using one zone for the guestbath in the pic, one for the living and one for the baby's room.  i already have surround in the master bedroom.
