When people see an STI or an Evo, they think that those are the true rally cars. Very few people know what these cars were born from. That of course is the Audi Quattro. The Quattro was the first 4 wheel drive rally car and was (imo) the best sounding engine ever (inline five cylinder).  I myself own the front wheel drive version of the Quattro, a Coupe GT.

In DiRt I was very disappointed to only see the Quattro being used in the hill climb events.  The Quattro is the mother of modern day rally cars, it should be implimented in DiRt 2 along with a entire Group B class.

The quattro is my favorite car to use on hillclimb and one of the reasons happens to be sound of the engine.  So I agree with what your statement.

You're right but the 206 (WRC champion in 2000, 2001 and 2002) was not in the game.

The 205T16 was champion for 1985 and 1986.
