Does some one know if Grid 2 is annouced ?

I personally think that Codemasters should pull its finger from its *whistle* and support those with the game by introducing more DLC.. tracks anyone? The 8 ball was great but come on.. can't leave it here before movin on to Grid 2... surely...

i quite agree,theres so much more they could offer re cars/tracks etc,just look at the list of cars available on race pro,just a shame they cant offer some of those.. would give the game a much needed boost!!! come on codemasters dont give up on this great game which has a good following worldwide!!

Its not even cars that we need though. Theres plenty of those to choose from. Its the tracks.. my number one gripe with this game is... for example... the FJ1000s online multiplayer limited to 3 tracks (4 if you count the rare reverse Jarama)...  now that just sucks.. thing is.. we can race this example car on all tracks in test drive so i really don't see where the problem is...

I heard that its all licensing bleurgh.. but why don't Codeys just go buy the license now and free up the game from these limitation restrictions... Grrr... would open the game 10 fold and I for one would pay for the privelege.

I agree. GRID 2 would be amazing.
Unlikely though. Codemasters now have the rights to Formula 1 which should be out later this year, just released FUEL and soon to release DiRT 2. So I doubt it.
And GRID 2 would need to be amazingly good to beat this one. 
DiRT 2 is a similar game engine to GRID with all the damage and everything and i think it has the playback feature when you total. So it will be similar. 

Add indianapolis motor speedway. They could pick the F1 track or the Moto GP track

Don't think they wont make a GRID 2. I mean after DiRT cam out we didn't know about GRID for a wile...GRID did very good. I wouldn't be surprised if after the release of DiRT 2 they announce a GRID 2....Lets hope :)

DiRT 2 is said to have improved physics, especially with the added weight applied to the cars for that more 'realistic' feel. If GRID 2 uses these physics and smartens up the A.I., it would be an awesome game.

they're working on Dirt 2 and a new F1 game, there's no way GRID 2 is coming out this year and probably not next year either
