In any event, I was able to find a deal on Amazon where I bought a "Used-Like New" copy for $11.00 w/shipping. Weird thing is that Amazon is selling it for like $48 brand new...and this game is considered "old".Anyway, let's see how it goes if you get it. So far, the hardcore BF players on these forums think it's one of the greatest things since an egg white omelette

I only bought it as "filler" until the next good game came out. What was a darkhorse special for me, turned out to be one of my favorite games. I took a shot at getting BF:MC2, only because I'm waiting on something promising like BF:BC2, Modern Warfare 2, and Operation Flashpoint. Although BF 1943 is en route shortly, so I see your point. But for $11.00? Why not right?

That should tell you something about a 4 year? old game compared to the newer one.
