How is the Sims 2 for XBOX?
Hey I was wondering how good the Sims 2 is for xbox before I buy it. Is it really different from the PC version? Are the families (like the Goth's) still in the game? Are the neighboorhoods still there?(like Pleasantview) Please let me know how it is before I waste money on something that might not be that good. Thanks.

Well I never played the 360 version only the PS2 one.

But I believe its the same.

THE BAD
Well you can build 2 or 3 story houses. Only 1 story.
The storyline is pretty tough, you have to help a lot of people on their goals and all.
Of course you need pain in the butt friends to get forward into your career.
No community stars, like the Goth's and Newbies.
No children at all, or babies.
Can't grow age.
No swimming pool.

THE GOOD
A lot of cool furniture
A lot choices and Sims creating generator.
Improved social options, but not by to many.
Better music like Paramore is featured.
Better house creator.

There you have it, I suggest researching this however.

Same here, I have the PS2 version.  I also have sims 2 pets.  One nice thing about Sims 2 for PS2 is that you can actually directly control a sim of your choice, which is cool.  I've never tried the Xbox version.  However, I still like the PC version the most due to the extra features and the ability to create videos that you can post on youtube.

Another thing to note about the PS2 version of Sims 2 is that you can actually control a sim directly (it is an  alternative to the traditional point and click mode).  Sims 2 Pets, you can control an entire family either directly (where you can move a sim around using the analog sticks and issuing commands for your sim by hitting the X button on the controller) or via point and click.
