The Simpsons Game Walkthrough
Guide written by Charlie George

The Land of Chocolate

  1. The first episode takes you to the land of chocolate, which is a reference to a previous episode of The Simpsons. This is the tutorial level of the game and you have limited abilities. As you progress through the game, you are given more abilities and can revisit each episode.
  2. After the cutscene ends, a white chocolate rabbit confronts Homer and taunts him. Follow it.
  3. You will need to cross the chocolate river with Homer. Jump across the short system of platforms and then climb up on the ledge.
  4. Once you have climbed the ledge, Homer is attacked by chocolate bunnies. Defeat them.
  5. Tip: Punching the rabbits is fairly easy. After killing them, eat the chocolate pieces they leave behind. The pieces give Homer power.
  6. Punch your way through the chocolate wagons and work your way through the village until you come to a fountain with a picture of Marge on it. Chocolate bunnies will keep coming out of it until you destroy the fountain by punching it.
  7. Tip: Take out the fountain first, then take on the bunnies. If you don't, you will be fighting bunnies forever.
  8. Destroy the graham cracker gate that is blocking your path, then destroy the three chocolate fountains.
  9. After the fountains are taken care of, you will see the white chocolate rabbit taunting Homer from the top of a giant cake.
  10. Walk up to the arrow that is pointing at a pile of ice cream and press the "use" button. This will activate the moving cookie sandwiches. Use them to jump across the chocolate moat.
  11. Jump on the cookies and get on the cake's first tier, then use the bounce pad to get on the second and third tiers. Climb the ladder to get to the fourth tier, then use a double-jump to get to the fifth and final tier. Once on top of the cake you will be alone with the white chocolate rabbit.
  12. Defeat the white chocolate rabbit by punching or belching.
  13. Tip: Before fighting, make sure you are not in Homer's ball form. If you are, you will fall through the top of the cake and have to take on the white chocolate rabbit as well as the mob of chocolate rabbits.
  14. After defeating the white chocolate rabbit, you can turn Homer into a ball which will break through the top of the cake and bring you to the bottom. The rabbits are waiting for you below.
  15. Roll your way towards the center where there is a bunny idol. Roll through the bunnies that are in your way.
  16. Destroy the bunny idol, which will end the tutorial level.
  17. Tip: The first Achievement and the easiest is the "Press START to Play" Achievement, just press start and you get 5 Achievement points.
  18. Tip: You can view any of your objectives by opening the checklist.
  19. You will unlock the "Chocolate Victory" Achievement for 10 Gamer Points.
  20. You have now unlocked Bart. Each new character has new abilities that help you progress through the game.
  21. Once outside look for the beam of light to start the next episode in the game.
  22. Tip: Beams of light trigger a new level (Episode)
  23. The next episode starts at the "SequelStop" location, a pun on the "GameStop" video game chain of stores.
  24. Press the use button to start the next episode.

Bartman Begins

  1. This episode should take no more than twenty minutes. It's fast and fairly easy.
  2. Homer finds Bart in an alley. He will ask Bart if he wants to go into the sewer with him and shoot rats with a shotgun. Bart then turns into Bartman.
  3. Use Bart to double-jump across the ravine. Once across, destroy the boxes and bats with his sling shot. You can now enter the temple.
  4. You must now cross the chasm. Step on the left pressure pad to trigger the ledges. Have Bart climb the ledges that project out and then have Homer step on the right pressure pad to trigger the other ledges. Once they are out, have Bart climb to the top.
  5. Tip: If Homer steps off of the right pressure pad while Bart is on the ledge, the ledge will recede and Bart will fall.
  6. Once Bart is at the top of the statue, turn him into Bartman and jump to the platform in the center of the chasm. A bridge will come out for Homer to cross.
  7. Have Bart climb the wall on the right hand side and push the bounce pad down for Homer to jump on. Once Homer is up on the ledge step on both pressure pads to activate the opening of the wall.
  8. Get both Homer and Bart onto the Dinosaur fossil in the middle of the next room by climbing the adjacent ladder. Security guards will emerge, but you can take down the first wave if you position both Homer and Bart on top of the fossil. Have Homer walk to the back end of the Dinosaur. Then have Bart turn into Bartman and go to the front, do a double jump and float to the ledge. Take it to the other side. Once across, open the door for Homer.
  9. In the next room there are more security guards. Have Homer activate the switch by the volcano. This will provide an air stream for Bart. Use the cape to get to the pterodactyls. Walk to the white spot on the wing and he will be bounced to a wire hanging over the room.
  10. Ride the wire and drop down on top of the tree, then jump up the branches to the top. At the top Bart needs to use his slingshot near the white light on the tree. There is a target directly in front of him. When the target is hit, the doors open to the next area.
  11. Some guards will come out of the next room. Destroy them and then have Bart step on the right pressure pad. This will turn Bart into RoboBart. Now he can fire lasers through glass temporarily, which will be enough to get through the next few rooms. If he runs out, he can go back and get the lasers again.
  12. Go through the next corridor which is a panorama display in the museum. Use the RoboBart function to shoot the targets in order from start to finish to force Jimbo's thug out of the display. Along the way there are platforms where Bart can recharge RoboBart.
  13. Tip: Once Jimbo's thug runs out, turn into Homer and fight them.
  14. Proceed into the next room, which is the space exhibit.
  15. Have Bart climb the wall in Bartman-mode and do a double-jump. Glide to a jet of hot air, which will take him to a jet that is not producing air. While Bart is on the jet, switch to Homer and activate the jet, allowing Bart to glide to the remaining jets.
  16. Jump from the last jet onto the shuttle. From the shuttle, jump onto the pole at the edge of the ship. Rotate on the pole.
  17. Tip: Climb near the top but not all the way up.
  18. Turn Bart with his back facing the planet and do a double-jump onto the planet's ring and follow it around to the other side.
  19. After you have across the planets, jump onto the satellite and cross it to the other side. You need to time the next jump right in order to get onto the moving platforms.
  20. Tip: Wait until the first one is lowered to the bottom before jumping or you will start the jump sequence all over again.
  21. Jump the next two moving platforms and then onto the top of the saucer. Once on top of the saucer you can begin attacking Jimbo.
  22. Tip: The best plan is to jump on the other planet and shoot him with the sling shot. Keep a good distance to avoid defeat.
  23. You earn the "Heist Hijinx" Achievement for 10 Gamer Points.
  24. After completing the first level, Homer and Bart are trapped between two barricades on the street. You must get past the barricades in order to move on to the next level.
  25. Turn Homer into the ball and do a Ball-Slam on the fire hydrant. The fire hydrant will spit out a jet of water.
  26. Have Bart go into Bartman-mode and ride the jet of water and glide over the barricade on the other side.
  27. Activate the switch and this will open the gate blocking the way. There is still another barricade to get through.
  28. Turn Homer into a ball and do a "Ball Burst" into the cracked barricade. After you break through the barricade you can head to the Duff brewery for the next episode.

Around the World in 80 Bites

  1. Make your way to the next beam of light which is in front of the Duff brewery. Press the use button to start the level.
  2. This is a timed race that puts you up against other Simpsons characters. After entering each level, more time will be added to your clock. The race will take about ten minutes.
  3. At the start of the race have Homer do a Ball Burst through the wall into Austria, and then proceed into Mexico. Then do another Ball Burst into the taco to get into Germany.
  4. Work your way into France where Willy has closed the gate leading into Scotland.
  5. Have Bart climb the ladder next to the beer barrels. Jump on the umbrellas and ride the air stream to the ledge.
  6. Grab the overhanging wire and ride it to the Eiffel Tower. Activate the button and ride the elevator to the top. Have Bart do a double-jump glide onto the white "X" near the switch that opens the gate. Activate the switch.
  1. In Scotland, have Homer do a "Ball Burst" into Stonehenge which will knock the rocks down. Proceed to the over-sized bagpipes. Make Homer do a Ball Slam on the bag portion which will create an air stream out of the pipes.
  2. Have Bart go to the pipes and ride the air stream to the switch on the next ledge. The switch will open the gate to Italy.
  3. Once in Italy, have Homer do a Ball Burst up the ramp by the giant meatball. He will destroy the meatball and will create an opening up on the next platform.
  4. Work your way up the ladder from the ledge and head to the Golden Gate Bridge.
  5. On the bridge, have Bart climb the ivy on the right tower of the bridge. Once at the top have him to a double jump glide to the switch to open and activate the final area in the episode.
  6. A giant Statue of Liberty rises out of the ground holding a giant hamburger.
  7. Tip: To complete this level, have Homer do a Ball Slam on the giant silver dollar, this will create a weak spot on the statue. Then have him do a Ball Burst into the statue to knock it down a level. Keep doing this until the giant hamburger falls off.
  8. Once the hamburger falls off, run and eat it to end the level.
  9. You are awarded the "Burger Victory" Achievement for 10 Gamer Points. You also unlock a new episode and the character Lisa.

Lisa the Tree Hugger

  1. This is a medium-length level.
  2. For fighting, the best character to use is Bart because of his slingshot.
  3. Proceed through the first gate and take out the loggers with Lisa's new power, the Saxophone Spin.
  4. Tip: The Port-A-Potties spawn the loggers in each area. Take these out first using Bart's sling shot, as this will make things a lot easier.
  5. Switch to Lisa after the Port-A-Potty is destroyed. Jump on the log with the shrine and invoke her meditation ability by standing in front of the idol and use the Hand of Buddha.
  6. Pick up the logs with the Hand of Buddha on the corresponding tree trunks. This will make a platform to get over the next gate.
  7. Climb the tree trunks and activate the switch at the top to open the gate.
  8. Destroy the Port-A-Potties in the next area along with the loggers.
  9. Have Lisa jump on the trunk with the idol and then pick up the cover on the exhaust pipe. Drop the exhaust pipe cover anywhere. This will stop the conveyor belt.
  10. Use Bart to ride up the air stream. Ride it to the ledge, cross the conveyor and kick the bounce pad down for Lisa to jump on.
  11. Go to the top of the conveyor and there will be two pressure pads for Lisa and Bart to step on. This will disable the grinders below.
  12. Follow the conveyor to the saw blades. You will need to time this correctly to avoid being killed. Have Bart jump right after the first blade goes down and move to the ladder at the end. Climb up and shoot the nearby target to disable the saws.
  13. Continue along the conveyor belt. There will be multiple saws running across the conveyor belt. This is fairly easy. Just time your jump well.
  14. Continue to the switch to deactivate more saws.
  15. You are presented with more saws that sweep and move up and down. This is easier than it looks. Simply jump when the sweeping saws swing away and run to the end. Deactivate them with the switch.
  16. Climb down the ladder that appears and take out the two loggers.
  17. Place Lisa on the meditation shrine. Have her grab the conveyor belt. Place it across the moat, using it as a bridge to cross.
  18. Spoiler:: You will see Carl and Lenny in the tree, bird-watching. They ultimately fall onto a conveyor that is on its way to a grinder.
  19. Cross the bridge and have Bart pick up the RoboBot helmet. Take out the loggers and the two Port-A-Potties. Use the lasers to also destroy the exploding barrels.
  20. Have Lisa use the shrine in the next area to pick up the giant toxic barrels and put them on the moving conveyor belt. This will disable the belt and move you to the next area.
  21. Have Bart go into Bartman-mode and climb the pole in the next area. Grab the wire and cross the river.
  22. Kill the loggers and destroy the Port-A-Potty. Activate the switch that opens the dam.
  23. Lisa must now cross the river playing Frogger by jumping on logs, alligators and turtles.
  24. Go to the shrine on the ledge with Lisa. Take apart the pipes that will vent the air upwards for Bart to ride. He needs to get up on the middle platform and then a pipe to the right of the middle platform. The remaining pipes can go to the left of the middle platform.
  25. Spoiler: After the pipes are in the correct place you will see Carl and Lenny on the conveyor belt. You have 60 seconds to save them.
  26. Have Bart ride the middle air stream to get to the top platform, then jump to the next air stream and grab the ledge. Work your way around the ledge and activate the switch which will allow Lisa to access the other shrine.
  27. Using the shrine, pick up Carl and Lenny.
  28. Walk up to the platform and using the slingshot target the bullseye and shoot, which results in destroying all the lumber mills.
  29. You earn the "Burns Baby Burns" Achievement for 10 Gamer Points and you also unlock Marge.

Mob Rules

  1. This level is long but simple.
  2. Switch to Marge and use the megaphone to target Ned. Target the Grand Theft Scratchy Float. Ned will start destroying it. Using the megaphone, continue to recruit others in town. Command them to destroy the Grand Theft Scratchy structures. If you are running out of power, pick up fire extinguishers in the rubble to power up.
  3. Switch to Lisa and jump on the bounce pad next to the SequelStop, and go to the shrine. Using the Hand of Buddha, pick up the crate in the alleyway to block the stream of water from the fire hydrant blocking the path.
  4. Go through the alley, kill the guards and destroy the floats.
  5. To the left there is a ladder for Lisa to climb. At the top there is a shrine to use. Use the Hand of Buddha to pick up the billboard pieces on the ground and place them over the gap for Marge and the mob to cross.
  6. On the other side of the bridge, take out the guards and have the mob attack the crack in the wall to continue.
  7. On the other side of the wall you will come to a parking garage. Have Lisa jump on the bounce pad to the upper deck. Use the shrine to pick up a car and clear an entrance to the upper portion of the garage.
  8. At the top there is a billboard. Have the mob destroy it. Go past the destroyed billboard and you will find a second billboard that is electrified.
  9. To destroy the second billboard the power needs to be cut. Have Marge put Maggie in the crawlspace in the building to the left of the billboard. Use Maggie's nook to hit the power button. This will deactivate the power supply.
  10. Once the power is cut, the mob can destroy the billboard.
  11. With Marge, cross over and use the megaphone to command the mob to move onto the platform.
  12. Have Lisa use the nearby shrine to lower them to street level.
  13. Destroy the enemies and the three floats. As the floats are destroyed wooden shapes form. Put Lisa by the nearby shrine to lift the pieces and put them in the correct space behind the taped-off area.
  14. Have Marge target the wooden pieces with the megaphone and make the mob construct a path leading up to the street above.
  15. Have the mob build a platform for Lisa to get to the shrine. Once up at the shrine, block the jet of water with a crate so the mob can move down the street and into town square.
  16. Tip: Recruit as many people as possible, there is a huge wave of oncoming attackers.
  17. Go to the town square where an Itchy and Scratchy monument has been put in place of Jebidiah Springfield.
  18. Destroy the statue.
  19. Once the statue is destroyed, Marge needs to take on the Mayor and the video game executive.
  20. Climb to the top of the town hall with Marge.
  21. Place Maggie inside to navigate through the crawlspace.
  22. The mayor and the game executive are in the hot tub. Have Maggie turn all the valves. This ends the level.
  23. You will unlock the "Mob Rule" Achievement for 10 Gamer Points.

Enter the Cheatrix

  1. Professor Fink has been kidnapped by a Donkey Kong look-a-like.
  2. From the platform use the Bartman grapple hook.
  3. Use the grapple again to get to the second platform. Grab the hook and immediately hook onto the next one to get to the third, or you will die.
  4. Flip the switch on the platform and a pipe will open where Lisa is. Lisa needs to go down the pipe to catch up with Bart.
  5. Step on the two pressure pads to open the next pipe. Drop down.
  6. Jump onto the conveyor belt just before the zapper blocking the path. Use Bart's grapple hook to get to the platform above and switch off the zapper.
  7. Combat the football players and characters from various fighting games which come out of the elevators.
  8. Tip: Make sure you deactivate the elevator so no more enemies come out. The enemies on this stage are pretty aggressive and difficult to stop.
  9. Jump on the bounce pad to take you to the ledge above. Activate the switch, which will deactivate another zapper.
  10. Have Bart grapple onto the hook near the center to land on an upper ledge. There he can activate a switch which will allow the platform to move below so Lisa can get to the ladder on the side.
  11. Once Lisa is up on the ledge, she needs to use the Hand of Buddha to grab the cogs. Drop them into the bloody water. This will create a mechanical cog that operates the lifts at the end of the conveyor belt near the pipe.
  12. Go down the next pipe.
  13. You are now one level above the original platform.
  14. To get to the next platform, you need to jump up and grab the ledge on the wall and work your way around the corner.
  15. Once on the next platform, jump on the pressure pads to open the next pipe. Drop down the pipe.
  16. You fall onto a conveyor belt and are attacked from the enemies in the last stage.
  17. At the end of the conveyor, jump onto the pole and then onto the next ledge. Jump over the gap and then jump on the bounce pad.
  18. Tip: Deactivate the elevators to prevent more football and fighting characters from appearing.
  19. Lisa needs to go to the shrine. Use the Hand of Buddha and pull the pipes off the cannisters. Dump them in the bloody water. Pick up the bridge pieces and snap them in place.
  20. As you work your way across the platform, you are constantly attacked, so make sure you use Lisa's saxophone to stun the enemies and run to the end of the platform. Climb up the ledge and deactivate the elevator. Activate the switch and a pole will rise up.
  21. Tip: Don't try to take the enemies on when going for the poles. Just run and jump to get there.
  22. Climb up the pole and jump onto the roof. Get on the last conveyor belt, not the first.
  23. There are two more elevators to disable. Do this first, then activate the switch to turn off the zapper blocking your path.
  24. Jump across the ledges to the next pipe and go down.
  25. You arrive one level higher but the catwalk is blocked because of green ooze raining down from above.
  26. Using Bart, grapple onto the hook. Then, using your sling shot, shoot the target. This will turn the ooze off.
  27. Head to the next pipe and drop down.
  28. You start on a conveyor belt. Before the end of the belt, jump to the left on the pink islands and onto the first pole, then jump on the second pole which goes higher.
  29. From the second pole, jump onto the ledge.
  30. TIP: Deactivate all of the elevators. There are a lot of football players, as well as fighters.
  31. Have Bart climb halfway up the circuit wall. Wait for the electricity to turn off, then jump on the ledge, walk around the corner and climb up another circuit wall. Time the jump to the next ledge.
  32. Tip: The electricity is intermittent, so time your climbing.
  33. Move Bart to the center of the conveyor belt and have him wait there.
  34. Using Lisa, move her to the first and only tower with a ladder. It will have a shrine on it. Using the Hand of Buddha, grab the platforms (they have a circle with a cross).
  35. Bart needs to grapple to the first platform. Lisa then needs to grab a platform tile off the ground and put it on the empty platform. Then Bart can go to that tower. Lisa then needs to grab the first tile that Bart was on and put it on the last platform in the upper right.
  36. From the last platform, Bart needs to do a double-jump glide to the platform with the switch.
  37. Activate the switch and two pressure pads will appear. Jump on them and a pipe opens. Drop down.
  38. Once out of the pipe, have Bart jump on the bounce board and he will get on a ledge. You then need to jump and grab the overhanging wire.
  39. Once across activate the switch and a pipe will open up for Lisa to jump in. She will come out on the other side of the chasm.
  40. Lisa now can flick people around with the Hand of Buddha.
  41. Jump in the next pipe and you will be in the final area.
  42. Using the Hand of Buddha, flick the ape to get him closer and closer to the edge, ultimately killing him. Bart has access to the Robot mode to shoot lasers at the oncoming football players and ninjas.
  43. It will take three flicks to kill the ape, and then the level is over.
  44. You will unlock the "Power Up!" Achievements for 15 Gamer Points. Additionally, you will unlock Helium Homer, which gives him the ability to float in the air for brief periods of time.
  45. You can now choose from three different levels in no particular order. The options are the Docks (Killer Dolphins), the Springfield Mall (Aliens) and Lard Lad.

The Day of the Dolphin

  1. Go to the waterfront area.
  2. You will be mainly using Lisa in this level. Dolphins will be coming at you and there is no real way to stop them. You will be utilizing the Hand of Buddha to accomplish most of the tasks.
  3. As you enter the first area, have Lisa climb on top of the left building with the shrine on it. Using the Hand of Buddha, use the hand to rotate and flick the dolphins into the billboard. This will open up a new area. Enter the new area.
  4. Switch over to Bart and walk up the ramp. Shoot the alien waiting there and go to the right side of the dead end. There is a rope hanging down. Climb down to the platform.
  5. Once you are on the platform, use Bart's slingshot and shoot the target. This will lower a boat for you. Use it to jump across the water. Stay with Bart, as Lisa will follow along.
  6. In the next area switch to Lisa. This part is very simple. Like in the previous area, use the Hand of Buddha to flick the dolphins into all the billboards. Once all the billboards are down, pick them up and place them on the pier poles jutting out of the water. After all the billboards are in place you can walk across them to the next area.
  7. In the next area there is an amusement park pirate ship that must be destroyed. Have Lisa walk past the area towards the shrine. Using the Hand of Buddha, flick the dolphins at the ship to destroy it. Have Bart go to the edge and to the center of the pier. Use his grapple hook to get to the other side.
  8. On top of the billboard, work your way to the right and grab the overhanging wire to get across the water. When you are above the pier with the switch drop down and activate it. This will open the pipe cover.
  9. Switch to Lisa and go to the pipe and drop down.
  10. This starts the boss stage in this level.
  11. On the tank on the right hand side there is a button that needs to be pressed. When pressed a lid will cover the tank. Have Lisa press the button and climb the ladder to the top of the tank and move to the next ladder. This will will lead to a shrine.
  12. Switch to Bart and work your way to the right hand side near the rear. You will see air fuming up. Ride the air stream up and catch onto the wall.
  13. Tip: The air stream will come out intermittently, so time it right. Once you have the air stream, grab the wall and climb over to the left and jump onto the ledge.
  14. On the ledge have Bart shoot the target below the king dolphin. When it is hit, he will fall to the water. Now switch to Lisa and use the Hand of Buddha to pick up the Jelly fish from the first tank and drop it in the electric tank. Pick it up electrified and drop it in the water with the king. He will lose one third of his life. Do it two more times in this sequence to finish out the level.
  15. You are awarded the "A Passive Fish" Achievement for 15 Gamer Points.

The Colossal Doughnut

  1. Bart and Homer finish out the final part of the alien levels by taking on Lard Lad.
  2. This level is not hard to beat, you just need to be patient. Bart does 99% of the work in Bartman mode using the slingshot. Because this level can be beaten several ways, here is the best way to complete it in under ten minutes.
  3. Using Homer, avoid Lard Lad to the best of your ability. Run through the construction sight away from the Krusty Burger. Follow the street to the left and you will find a fire hydrant. Turn Homer into a ball and do a Ball Strike on the hydrant to open a flume of water.
  4. Now switch to Bart. Follow close to Lard Lad as close as possible and try to get behind him.
  5. Tip: If during the process he stomps, jump in the air as his foot hits the pavement to avoid getting knocked down. Also try to avoid his lasers.
  6. When you are behind him, lock on to his rear end with the slingshot and fire away. This will render him helpless and open a ledge to a panel accessible from the street.
  7. Jump up to the panel and then press the use button to pull his wires. He will spring back into life and run away.
  8. Now you need to get up on the building structures across the street from the construction site, opposite the Krusty Burger. Wait for Lard Lad to pass. If he sees you on the buildings he will fire lasers at you.
  9. When his back is exposed and you are on a nearby building, shoot and a second panel hire up will open. Jump from the building and like the first time, press the use button to pull more wires.
  10. If you haven't gotten on the highest building yet, now is the time, as the third panel is by his neck. Once again wait for him to come by and make a double jump for it. If you land on the shoulder or another body part do another jump to get there. Once there pull the wires again. This will end the level.
  11. You will unlock the "Mmm Donut" Achievement for 15 Gamer Points.

Invasion of the Yokel-Snatchers

  1. This level requires Bart and Homer.
  2. Have Bart and Homer head to the Springfield mall. You can find it by the beam of light.
  3. Have Bart jump on the fountain to pick up the RoboHead. Shoot the onslaught of aliens. There are a lot of them, so don't waste time. Pick them off as quickly as possible while moving forward towards the trucks.
  4. After the first wave of aliens, a second will appear. This time you might have some laser left, but after that, it's all slingshot.
  5. Have Bart shoot the two aliens at the top of the truck and then crawl up the netting.
  6. Once that is cleared, it's time to use Homer's Helium skill. There is a helium tank next to the truck. Press the use button and then the jump button rapidly to get to the top of the truck. Once you're there stay put.
  7. Now have Bart jump down and grab the RoboHead. Homer will follow suit and take on the aliens. In this part there are massive waves of aliens. You will die a lot on this level.
  8. Move forward to the edge by the lava chasm and have Homer use the Helium skill. This time, in order to cross the chasm, he needs to fill up, press the jump button twice, and then do a ball burst as you would in his ball form. He will fly across the chasm.
  9. Have Homer go to the switch and activate it. This will open the exhaust over the chasm. Bart can now turn into Bartman, do a double jump and glide across the air in the chasm.
  10. Once Bart lands, another wave of aliens attack. This can be simply ignored by turning Homer into a ball. Do a Ball-Burst across the other chasm and onto the next ledge. After he hits the ledge he can jump on the bounce pad and land on the ledge near the switch. Open another air stream for Bart to glide over.
  11. Have Bart glide over the chasm and proceed to the two pressure pads. Move onto the next part of the level, a reenactment of Space Invaders.
  12. Tip: The simplest way to conquer the Space Invaders portion is to turn Homer into a ball and do Ball Bursts at the rows of aliens. This is the simplest and most effective way.
  13. After three waves of this walk into the tractor beam to start the next part of the level.
  14. Once aboard the ship, activate the switch by Cletus to free him. This will start the next cutscene.
  15. Tip: Using Homer's ball form is the best way to beat this level. The room is a circle and when a port on the side opens, it will be flashing green. Have Homer roll over and do a Ball Burst up the ramp to hit the switch. You need to do that twice.
  16. Two more will open. Just repeat the process.
  17. After that is accomplished, this will end the level.
  18. You are awarded "The Alienator" Achievement for 15 Gamer Points.
Bargain Bin

  1. This is a three minute timed race featuring Homer and Bart, and is fairly easy to complete.
  2. Start off by turning into Bartman and walk to the ledge and use the grapple. Once on the other side, activate the switch to extend the bridge. Homer will follow.
  3. When the bridge is extended turn Homer into a ball and do a Ball Burst through the crack in the wall. Follow the conveyor belt to the bottom and go left to the ledge.
  4. Switch to Bartman, and use your slingshot to hit the target to extend the bridge. Keep going straight on the belt.
  5. Go to the end of the belt and use the grapple to pull Bart across the gap. Once across, have him break the boxes that are blocking the path for Homer.
  6. Turn Homer into the ball again and do a Ball Burst up the ramp to the other side.
  7. Tip: Make sure that the boxes are gone.
  8. When you get on the other side, go to the helium tank and fill up. Press the jump button and do a burst across the gap. Proceed on the bounce pads on the next conveyor, follow it and turn into a ball again and do a burst to the other side.
  9. Bart will need to use the grapple hook to get to the other side, then follow the bounce pads to the next level, and then cross the gap with the grappling hook.
  10. Have both Homer and Bart step on the two red pressure pads.
  11. If you did this in under three minutes then the level is completed.
  12. You are awarded the "Save the Simpsons" Achievement for 15 Gamer Points.

The Simpsons Game NeverQuest

Part One

  1. For this level, you will be using Homer and Marge.
  2. Tip: Remember to use both Marge and Homer in tandem. Use Homer to stun Patty and Selma, and Marge to attack the dragon with the elves.
  3. Although this part of the game does not have a timer, there is a deadline. In the upper right hand corner of the screen there are three houses. Patty and Selma are attacking each one with fire. When all three houses burn down, you start over. Here is a basic strategy for this section.
  4. Turn Homer into a ball and follow Patty and Selma, as they move around the area and take out the bridges. They will finally stop in midair. Have Homer roll up and do a Ball Burst into them from the side of the bridge.
  5. Patty and Selma will fall to the ground stunned. Switch to Marge and have her use the mega phone to create a mob. Using the megaphone, target Patty and Selma and have the mob attack them.
  6. When Patty and Selma get back up, repeat this process. It should take about three times to do.

Part 2

  1. Patty and Selma do not die, they fly away. Marge and Homer walk through a magical door that Homer kicks open. This begins the second stage of the game.
  2. Tip: Use Homer in ball form for most of this level, doing ball bursts into the spawn points and monsters. The key is to take out the spawn points first to prevent more enemies from attacking.
  3. This level resembles a 3D version of the game Gauntlet with spawn points and monsters, played by the characters Moe and Otto.
  4. This level is fairly simple. Have Homer use Ball Bursts to destroy the spawn points. There are wooden crates around the spawn points with elves trapped inside. Once the crates are destroyed, have Marge recruit them with the megaphone.
  5. Continue forward. Along the way have Homer take out spawn points in the form of little buildings. Marge can do the same by targeting them with the Megaphone. This will command the mob of elves to destroy them.
  6. Go up the ramp on the left hand side and take out the spawn points and Moe-enemies. Go up the right ramp and follow it around to activate a switch that will open the two double doors blocking the path.
  7. Tip: Before going to the next level, get as many elves recruited as possible.
  8. There are evil Otto-enemies in the form of rocks past the door. Destroy the pile of rocks, then have Marge and Homer step on the two pressure pads.
  9. This will bring you to a top-down recreation of the game Gauntlet.
  10. Use Homer for this entire level. Ball Burst the rock piles and houses to take out the spawn points. Marge's elves will attack the Moe and Otto-enemies. Homer can do Ball Bursts as well to help. Find more wooden here crates with elves inside. Marge can recruit them.
  11. Continue forward. Perform Ball Bursts to collect the keys, break down the doors and jump down the hole in the end to go to the next stage.

Part 3

  1. In this stage, you enter a room with a dragon. There are a lot of spawn points for Moe and Otto-enemies.
  2. Have Homer do Ball Bursts to destroy them.
  3. With Marge, use her Megaphone to target the claw to the right of the dragon's head. Command the elves to attack and a stack of coins will rise on the right side.
  4. Use Marge to climb the coin steps and get on top of the dragon's nose. Go to the right eye and use Maggie to go inside of it.
  5. Crawl down the shaft and make a left, then a right. Continue following the shaft. Activate the button with Maggie's nook and it will start the elevator.
  6. Once the elevator rises to the top have Maggie go to the next button. Hit it with her nook. This will trigger the final sequence.
  7. This is the final sequence for "NeverQuest". It's a recreation of the classic arcade game Joust.
  8. In the center there is a helium tank. Have Homer fill up and float to where Patty and Selma are and do a Ball Burst. Make sure you time it right.
  9. Homer will fall down again. Have him do the same thing. Fill up with air and repeat the Ball Burst two more times.
  10. After the last Ball Burst the level will end, and Homer will grab the Keycard.
  11. You are awarded the "Dragon Slayer" Achievements for 25 Gamer Points.
  12. You are then sent back to the lobby.

Medal of Homer

Capture the Flags

  1. This level is a bit lengthy, but simple. You will need Bart and Homer.
  2. The objective is to collect twenty four flags scattered among the village. The game even provides a with the location of each of the flags.
  3. Most of the flags are either hanging out of the windows or on top of trees. To access the map and locate the flags, open your objectives window and you will see a compass to the right. Activate the compass and the map will indicate the town, the flags and the icons representing Homer and Bart.
  4. Collecting the flags is pretty straight forward. There is no timer at all.
  5. There are two areas that might prove tricky to collect the flags from: the cathedral, and the houses and trees around the town square's fountain.
  6. For the cathedral you just need Bart. Have him go to the right side of the cathedral. There is a river separating the two pieces of land. You will need to use the grapple hook twice here. Like before, use the grapple hook, then grapple again and drift to the ledge using your cape. If you miss it, you will start over. Just remember as soon as the first hook lets you go, grapple again, then drift to the ledge.
  7. Work your way around the back and climb up the barrels. Then use the vine to reach a ledge. There will be another vine to climb. Use it to get to the top.
  8. There will be a flag hanging outside the tower. The second one in the cathedral is out on the ledge towards the paddle wheel. Grab it and then drift back to the mainland.
  9. The next part is in the town square by the water fountain. There is a flag at the top of the tree, and a flag in two windows to the right of it.
  10. Go behind the fountain and head to the balcony with the bounce pad. There will be a bridge. Cross it and there will be another bounce pad.
  11. Use the bounce pad to jump onto the tree, then do a double-jump and drift to the two remaining flags.

Escort Mission

  1. This level is simple. You will only need Bart on this level, with his wrist rocket primarily. The mission takes a little less than five minutes to complete.
  2. Using the wrist rocket, take out the flashing mines in front of you (they glow red and only need to take one shot to take them all out). Continue forward and take out the artillery with your wrist rocket. As you move up the road there will be a few more artillery installations, which are easy to take out. There will also be a mine field which requires one shot.
  3. Near the curve to the right there is a tank. Take it out. As you round the curve to the right there is a hiding artillery installation. Take it out.
  4. This mission is all on foot, and is very easy. It's kind of hard to get killed on this level. Abe signals when you approach the end of the level.

Burns' Personal Carrier

  1. Have Bart walk along the platform and jump on the boat.
  2. Bart needs to do a double-grapple and cape-drift down to the platform. Activate the switch which will swing the boat around with Homer on it.
  3. Have Homer plant the explosives on the door and walk away to avoid damage. Continue on the platform.
  4. Activate the switch at the end of the platform. Two poles will appear. Jump across the two poles to the other side.
  5. Have Bart and Homer jump on the bounce pad which will take them to a platform with a pipe. Have Homer put a charge on the pipe to blow it.
  6. Use the air stream and have Bart sail up to the next platform, which will be the deck. Use Bart, kick down the bounce pad so Homer can jump up.
  7. There is an anti-aircraft gun. Have Homer place a charge and let it blow.
  8. You will see a Japanese aircraft fighter crashed near another deck. Climb the plane to the next deck.
  9. Plant a charge on another anti-aircraft gun. Use Bart to ride the uprising flume of smoke up to the next deck.
  10. Walk along the deck and kick down a crate for Homer to climb.
  11. Have Homer put a charge on the door. Once through the door, go to the left onto another pipe. Use Bart to ride up to some cargo netting. Jump off, and kick the bounce pad down to Homer.
  12. Jump up to the next platform and put a charge on the anti-aircraft gun. Have Bart ride the flume of smoke to the next deck to kick a bounce pad down.
  13. Follow the platform and drop down. Have Homer place another charge down. Once the door blows, go through it.
  14. Take out the next anti-aircraft gun.
  15. Using the helium tank, have homer fill up and then keep pressing the jump button. This will take him to Burns' location on a platform.
  16. One punch is all you need to defeat Burns, and the level will end.
  17. You are awarded the "Victory at Sea!" Achievement for 25 Gamer Points.
  18. You then return to the lobby to take on another game.
Big Super Happy Fun Fun Game

  1. Go to the "Big Super Happy Fun Game" with Lisa or Homer, and press the activate button to start the level.
  2. The level is a mock up of games from Japan with distinct colors and items (Sushi, rainbows and Mr. Sparkle). You must pass through three sections in this world.
  3. In order to do that, Mr. Sparkle needs to be activated. He is on an island on top of a toilet bowl.
  4. Have Homer cross the river using the three poles, jumping from one to the other.
  5. When you get across, switch to Lisa and find the first shrine. In order for the gates to open to the different areas, Mr. Sparkle needs to be activated.
  6. At the first shrine, have Lisa levitate the lantern on the ground and place it on top of the stand in front of the Mr. Sparkle statue.
  7. During this section you will have to fend off Sumo Comic Book Shop Guys.
  8. Tip: They can be flicked away using the Hand of Buddha.
  9. Go to the next shrine. The lantern is hidden under the houses and you need to levitate them to find it. Once the lantern is found, place it on the pedestal. Do this for the other side as well.
  10. Once the three lanterns are activated the first gate will open.
  11. Enter the "Well of Fire" to start the new level.

Well of Fire

  1. Jump across the lava pool using the stump, then jump on the mushroom that acts as a bounce pad to the get to the top ledge. Both characters must do this together.
  2. Go to the shrine and use the Hand of Buddha to lift the logs out of the lava pit and place them along the stumps to form a bridge.
  3. Cross the bridge with both Lisa and Homer separately. Be careful, as the separate bridges are not stable. If you stand on one end the other will rise, and vice versa. You might die a few times with Homer while trying to accomplish this.
  4. The next part has you jumping on moving stumps until you come to a dead end with gray pillars blocking your path. Have Homer turn into a ball and do a Ball Burst through the first one, and the second one after. He will die, but he does return.
  5. In the next area have Homer turn into a ball and do a ball burst into the cracked tree across the lava river. This will create a bridge.
  6. Have Lisa go to the shrine. Using the Hand of Buddha, turn the sumo wrestlers into ice cubes. Pick them up and place them in the open slots in the lava leading to the well of fire.
  7. Once all three are in place, cross the pit by jumping on the ice blocks and follow Jimbo into the well of fire. This will trigger a Pokemon sequence. If you have played Pokemon then this will look really familiar.
  8. You will be put up in a match against Jimbo's "Sparklemon". The attacks you want to use are the burping command for Homer and Freeze for Lisa. Repeat this and you will beat the "Sparklemon".
  9. After this, the gates to the "Well of Ice" will open.

Well of Ice

  1. When you enter the "Well of Ice" level there are three pillars of solid ice jutting from the ground. This is a fairly simple level compared to the "Well of Fire" level.
  2. Sumos will attack from all over the place, so use Homer for the following steps.
  3. Switch to Homer and go to the right part of the stage near a snowy slope. Turn into a ball and head to the foot of the slope and do a Ball Burst, then push forward on the controls to land on the ledge.
  4. Walk to the helium tank and fill Homer up. Do a few jumps in Helium mode, and then a burst to the ice pillar.
  5. After you land on the pillar, turn Homer into a ball again. Then do a Ball Strike on the top of the ice pillar. This will take the ice coating off of the pillar.
  6. Jump off the pillar and head to the snowy slope to the left and repeat the process to get to the top. Head to the right and fill up on helium. Head to the next pillar and do another Ball Strike to take off the ice coating.
  7. The third tank is easy to get to. Head back to the tank area, walk near the right and you will see that there is an upward slope near the edge. Turn Homer into a ball, do a Ball Burst and you will land on the next ledge by the last helium tank.
  8. Like the first and last tanks, repeat the process to the next pillar and do another "Ball Strike" on top to take off the ice.
  9. Switch to Lisa and have her go to the shrine and use the "Hand of Buddha" to lift the pillars that Homer was working with.
  10. Place each pillar in the holes in front of the entrance to the "Well of Ice". Each pillar is a different height. The pillars will ascend upwards. After you get them in the right place you will not be able to lift them again.
  11. After you place the pillars do double jumps to get onto each of them then jump into the "Well of Ice".
  12. Another "Sparklemon" stage will start with Ralph's "Sparklemon".
  13. Use Homer's gummy attack and Lisa's lightning attack. Do this twice and this part of the main level is done.
  14. This will open the "Airship Level".

The Airship

  1. As you enter an airship rises out of the clouds with Homer and Lisa board. Sumo wrestlers (played by the "Comic Book Guy) will attack you on the ship. They are there to take out all five engines of the ship.
  2. While there are no steps to beat this level there is a strategy.
  3. Use Homer in ball form. The ship will start rising and can be monitored in the upper right hand corner of the screen. The goal is to get all the way to the top without getting both Homer and Lisa killed or having all five engines to the ship taken out. Simply roll him from each part of the ship. The sumos will move around him and go to each part that is deactivated and re-activate it like you would with any switch.
  4. This takes about five minutes or so to get to the top, all depending on how many engines are active.
  5. There are no railings on the side, so be cautious when going down the ramp on the side of the ship to reach the switches. The best way to reach each end is do a ball burst. This will stop you in front of the switches.
  6. As long as you have at least one engine running when you get to the top cloud you will reach the final "well".
  7. When you reach the top, a cloud will be there to jump on. "Sherry" and "Terry" will engage you in the final Pokemon battle.
  8. This battle is easily beat by using the Burp with Homer and the Freeze actions in the "Sparklemon" battle.
  9. This ends the level and you are given a key card.
  10. A new costume is unlocked and you are awarded the "Sparkling Defeat" Achievement for 25 Gamer Points.

Grand Theft Scratchy

  1. You will need Marge and Lisa for this level.
  2. Throughout the level there are dog carriers. These will be Marge's mob, which she can command.
  3. Start breaking open the dog carriers and using Marge's mega phone recruit them.
  4. Tip: The simplest way to move through this level is to take out the Itchy and Scratchy vans. These are spawn points. Once they are taken out you will have little resistance.
  5. Marge's goal is to clean up the neighborhood and the buildings.
  6. With her mob in tow, target each of the condemned buildings and order the mob to reconstruct them. On occasion Itchy and Scratchy-enemies will hop fences and attack. Marge's mob should be able to handle them.
  7. Work your way to the dead end. Once finished, a shrine will pop up in the street. Have Lisa get on and use the Hand of Buddha to pick up the two turquoise transistors. Place their sockets in front of the construction site. This will lower the elevator to the bottom.
  8. Have Marge get on the elevator and target it. Bring a few dogs with her. Switch to Lisa and use the Hand of Buddha to take off one of the transistors. This will bring the elevator to the second floor. Make sure Marge and a few dogs are on the elevator.
  9. Switch to Marge and get off the elevator. Target the electric fence and have the dogs destroy it. This will open a new neighborhood.
  10. Tip: Like the last neighborhood, take out all the Itchy and Scratchy spawn points first. It will make things easier in the long run.
  11. As you enter the new commercial district area, head down the left side of the street. Take out the various spawn points that pop up.
  12. Once at the end start restoring the buildings, and make sure to restore the billboard that is at the end of the street. The billboard is a pun on Jack Thompson.
  13. Once all those buildings are done, you are told to change the radio station's music.
  14. Go to the side of the building with Marge and jump on the dumpster/bounce pad. There is a vent for Maggie to crawl in. Have her go in the vent and down the ramps. Head into the studio and go straight to the switch. There is no danger for Maggie here. Hit the switch with the nook and the music will change to "That's what friends are for".
  15. Take out the remaining Itchy and Scratchy vans, as well as the rest of the buildings.
  16. The last building on the left side of the street is missing its top half. Have Lisa go to the shrine and use the Hand of Buddha to pick up the top half in the water and drop it on top of the building.
  17. Have the mob remodel the building and then head to the dock behind the radio station.
  18. Switch to Lisa and use the "Hand of Buddha" to move across the river blocking the way. There are two Scratchy's standing next to the vans. Turn them into ice cubes and drop them in the river. This will turn the river into ice. Keep doing this until the entire river is frozen and you can cross it.
  19. Cross the river and take out Scratchy and the two vans. Convert the trucks into ice cream trucks, and the building into an ice cream stand. Once that is done, it will trigger the next stage, a recreation of the game Missle Command.
  20. Have Lisa use the shrine. Cats carrying bombs will come out of the stage.
  21. Have Lisa pick up the barrels and drop them in front of the incoming cats to destroy them. There will be three waves.
  22. After the third wave, have the dogs destroy the stage. When the stage is destroyed, this will trigger a cutscene.
  23. After the stage is destroyed the boss will give you the keycard.
  24. If you have been following this in order you now have all four key cards. You are awarded the "Doggie Dazed" Achievement for 25 Gamer Points.

Five Characters in Search of an Author

Part One

  1. After the mission is activated you will meet the creator. When he sees the Simpsons coming, he sends out his lawyers to attack Bart and Homer.
  2. This part will be a little tough and you may will die a lot.
  3. Tip: The key here is to take out the limos, which are the spawn points. After the spawn points are down, then take out the lawyers.
  4. Use Bart mainly in this part of the level.
  5. Turn into Bartman and walk to the left, then use the grapple hook to get on the hedge. Do double-grapples to get to the end of the hedge. The lawyers spawn out of limousines, so just take those out. There are two on each side.
  6. Take the two out on the left side, then jump across the bushes and do a double-jump/drift to the stack of money. Walk across it to the other hedge.
  7. Take out the remaining limos.
  8. Change to Homer and use Ball bursts to kill the mob of lawyers. This is the easiest way to pull this off.
  9. Walk up the doors and you will play a simple game of "Simon Says" with various pressure pads. It will give you two musical sequences (which are the show's theme song). Once that is done, part two of this level will begin.

Part Two

  1. Spoiler: This part of the level is done in tandem using Bart and Homer. After entering the mansion you will see the creator at his desk. The creator says he is the greatest animator of all time, and Homer replies with an insult. The creator then sends his minions. They are Dr. Zoidberg and Bender from his other animated series Futurama.
  2. The creator will be hiding to the sides of the hall in draped verandas.
  3. Depending on where the creator is, there may be a ramp which Homer can Ball Burst off of to hit the button below the creator.
  4. When using Bart, grapple up the chandeliers. Then grapple from one to the next, do a double jump and drift to the platform with the switch. This will close the curtain. Afterwards, switch back to Homer.
  5. Towards the end of the fight, the dining room table in the middle of the room will form a ramp. The creator will be at the end of it on a platform. Below that is a button in the shape of Homer in a ball. Roll up the ramp about 3/4 of the way and then do a Ball Burst into it, and that will end the level.
  6. You will receive 25 Gamer Points for the "On the Matt" Achievement.

Game Over

Part One

  1. This is the last and probably the most difficult of all the levels. You will use all of the Simpsons except for Maggie in this level.
  2. When The Simpsons arrive at the pearly gates, they are greeted by William Shakespeare. He will attack them with skulls of Yorick from the play Hamlet.
  3. Since this is the last episode of the game, you can use all four of the Simpsons characters (minus Maggie).
  4. Using Bart, just keep shooting him with the wrist rocket, and he will die. The gates will open to the next section.

Part Two

  1. Once you get through the gates, things get a little trickier.
  2. Have Bart turn into Bartman and go to the left side, battling the aliens along the way. Using the grapple hook and get onto the first cloud which resembles a golf green.
  3. Move along the moving platforms over the clouded chasm to the end.
  4. Switch to Homer. Follow the right side all the way around as far as you can.
  5. Jump down by the ramp that leads to the cloud with the helium tank, do a Ball Burst to get on the floating platform.
  6. Fill up with helium and do a few jumps. Ball Burst a few times to get across the cloud chasm. Once there, flip the switch and it will open the gate to let the rest of the family through.

Part Three

  1. This part of the level has the most puzzles.
  2. There will be a huge staircase in front of the Simpsons with a gate closed ahead. You will be attacked by killer dolphins and aliens so move quick in this part.
  3. Using Homer, go halfway up, turn into a ball, and do a Ball Burst. This will send you sailing over the gate.
  4. Activate the switch to the left of the gate to open it. Walk over to the right side of the building in the courtyard. There is a helium tank. Fill up and go over the side of the building, where there are two pressure pads. Step on one.
  5. Switch to Lisa and have her go to the shrine. Use the Hand of Buddha to freeze one of the killer dolphins.
  6. Pick up the ice cube and place it on the hot rocks in the center. This will create a steam vent.
  7. Switch to Bart and turn into Bartman. Ride the vent over the side of the building (towards Homer) and step on the other pressure pad. This opens the gate for the rest of the family.

Part Four

  1. In the next area you will see a parody of a Starbucks coffee house. The elves from NeverQuest are in line.
  2. Using Marge's Megaphone to recruit the elves. Target the construction site to build another "Skybucks".
  3. After it is built, Benjamin Franklin comes out with a Latte. He is the next villain to stop. The little elf mob will automatically attack him, but they will do no real damage.
  4. Have Marge use her Megaphone blast power to take him down.
  5. Switch to Homer and turn into gummy Homer and shoot him. This will turn Benjamin Franklin into smaller pairs.
  6. Switch to Bart and use the wrist rocket to keep shooting him. He will keep splitting in pairs, but will eventually die.
  7. This will open the gate to the final part of the episode and game.

Part Five

  1. You find God at the top of the stairs. He turns out to be a gamer and challenges you to a game of "Dance Dance Evolution" (a pun on "Dance Dance Revolution").
  2. There are three rounds. There will be characters coming down, and you have to press the control pad in the corresponding direction. So if a character is walking down to the up arrow, press up on the control pad. There are three rounds.
  3. After you complete this watch the cutscene. This will end the game.
  4. You will get 100 Gamer Points for the "Cloud Nine" Achievement. Congratulations on beating The Simpsons Game.
