    Quote:
"The "Reflex" subtitle comes from how you save your rider when you land any of these big air jumps. Because the analog sticks control your vehicle -- left analog stick controls the steering, right analog stick controls your rider -- you have a lot more control of not only your vehicle but your rider as well."

    Quote:
"I'm a fan of all sorts of racing games, and especially technical titles like Gran Turismo because I enjoy the play between the steering, gas and brakes. In my time with Reflex, I found that the body control added another layer to this and actually made it noticeably more fun just to drive around because of this."

I can't wait for this game! I've been a fine of the Mx and Atv series before they became one series. Honestly I thought the ATV Offroad Fury series was the best. Hopefully a lot of people will be online when Reflex comes out.

I'm loving the overhaul on this game since Untamed. It's feel like a brand new game. I've been following it pretty close lately. I hope we get a demo release date soon!

No kidding. Tease us Rainbow that a demo is confirmed but dont say when. I hate when publishers/devs do that crap. The dev blogs hint really soon though, so hopefully within a week. Oh well, Im keeping my expectations as low as they were when I left untamed. For me, all this overhaul wont mean much though if it plays out just like untamed with glitches, bugs, and laggy online without patches or dlcs. At least I have mx simulator on the side.

Looks like they finally announced it yesterday. The demo comes out November 12. So we got one more week.

I really have a good feeling about this from all the game play videos and previews i've seen. I can see why it might be best though to keep expectations low from the response to Untamed. I guess we'll get a taste when the demo hits.

I was really expecting this week from the dev blog written on monday. Online play would be icing on the cupcake for the demo, but nothing about that from what I've read so far. I am excited to try out the reflex gameplay to see if that improves riding over untamed, as well as see just how influential the terrain deformation will be for different racing lines, as it looks a little sloppy atm from vids. Oh well, more waiting.

I think the terrain deformation could definitely be useful in races to make ruts to mess people up. haha at least that's what i'm gonna do. I saw a vid from the game with an ATV just doing a bunch of donuts and basically digging a hole in the ground. It was really cool.

Online on the demo would be awesome! guess we'll find out soon enough.

They introduced another rider in the game on the Reflex blog. check it out:
    Featured Rider: Kurt McCabe

I'm not too familiar with him, but glad that the game is showcasing lesser known guys to get their name out there. The guy sounds like a determined, dedicated rider. The screencaps look amazing as well

Wow - it is GREAT to see a privateer get into a game like this... all those riders really deserve recognition.  No factory rides, paying out of their own pockets, and dragging their bikes to the races in the backs of pick-up trucks - there's no glamor pit area for these guys.

McCabe rode great in Arenacross last season (Central Champion), and competed in a few Supercross races with the big boys, too.  At the opening Arenacross event of the season (this last weekend in Des Moines, IA, his home state), he won the Lites Class.  Not bad!

That looks AWESOME!  And yeah, the scrubs do keep you lower, like in real life... that's why they call it "scrubbing some speed", like getting rid of some speed so you don't overshoot a landing.  Also, you can use scrubs to get back to the ground faster, since you can actually lose time in the air...

Thanks for posting it Yes [Y]

Dude, demo is siccccckkkk! Have you played it yet? It completely feels like a new game. The controls are a lot more complex so it'll take me some time to get the hang of, but I like it a lot. The terrain deformation looks incredible.  Bikes and quads both feel real good to ride. This is leaps and bounds above Untamed.

Dare I say it's better than any other racing game like it i've played this year.

Titans, that's great to hear!  I downloaded it last night, but got stuck playing Borderlands, so I haven't tried it yet... but tonight I will!

Cool. let me know what you think and how the tricks pull off for you. I've been just doing that on the freestyle course. I haven't raced too much. haha. Man the terrain deformation looks cool though.

Tip if the rider reflex starts to **** you off, you don't need to use it much except for sharp turns and it helps when pulling off a whip. Besides that, you can just lean on the right stick for gradual turns. I kept turning way too hard when going fast and turning with the left stick.
