Who do you think is the best player on Quake 4 ?

You can only vote for yourself if you are in the top 10 in Deathmatch. I can't include Alltime stats because you get so many glitchers on there. So don't come on here and say that you are the best when you have glitched to get to where you are on the Alltime stats.

i nominate shinrakahn he is the most fun to play with............we come up with sick combos all the time n he is a *** to beat on my house....but i own him on his host so its kinda even i guess

Not to put you down or say you are not good, I've never played you but I just think its kind of pointless to try to find the "Best" player in a game where the community has dwindled so much

Yes I know I have been playing this game for over a year and I have never played you either but I am number 17 or 18 last time I checked on the Deathmatch Alltime stats. I am sure that HOTsreak will vouch for me being a very good player on Quake 4 (just not as good as him). I also know that it has a smaller community now but I haven't been playing in the last month or so because my disk isn't working.

So shut it !

I know that i dont play every game, mainly because im going for the 5k games played achievment.  ALso i often let friends get kills off me because they need them for their 10k kills achievment.  In my entire career at quake 4 there has not ban anybody that i could not beat on my own host.  However there are people that i could only beat every once in awhile on their hosts.  One comes to mind and that is Detriment.  He is tough to beat on his host but if I get him on my host then I win.  Lex there are still good players that play quake.  Not near the competition that it used to have, but still good players playing what i think is the best FPS game on the 360.
Oh yeah and pardon my spelling, my graphics card has seen better days and needs to be replaced.

oh yeah Major Bones u r a glitcher and I have beaten you before on ur host so I don't know what you are talking about. When was the last time that you beat HOTsreak - oh wait I can answer that one not for a long time if ever

no offense to u or anything but i hate when people hide behind there host..........one thing i do know i have beat u on ur host n u have never beat me on mine....n if ur wondering when i beat u on ur host i was on dm average when me n shinra n u where in the same room...u came in third on ur host n left our party the next game claiming ur going to show some kids how to boost.....i hate my host it means more to me if i beat people off it

Exactly I mean I have even beaten him on his host never mean what you would do to him or any of the other players that are better than me. I mean on my host I have beaten HURRICAN and even SAIBOT. So any victories on ur host Major Bones doesn't count.

Yeah shinra's pretty nice watching him play and stuff, he doesnt seem to be around an awful lot anymore..id nominate him myself watching him play and stuff sit there for hours at a time  lol.. havent heard from him in awhile though seen him on halo 3 once at like 3am a couple days ago so i assume hes gotten a new 360 or something, who knows anymore xD

You cant really say who the best player is! Theres never really is a fair match up,especially when people are playing in other countrys, other connections ect, dont get me wrong I have nothing against anybody I have played on american hosts that are worse then german hosts! The only way to really judge whos good and whos not is by concistency (I think thats how you spell it) anyway, Ive been playing quake for a long time now and ive come across many phenominal players! But all I can say is, nobody can win them all!

Thats probably the most logical answer to the question and I agree. Consistency is all that you can really go by...if your trying to find the "Best"

srry, but lex is right, you think you are good now, you should have played the first year (not the second year) when all the good players played. plus all dm is now is who can kill the noob first, which doesn't take all that much skill.

That is one of my points I have not played in ages so I have not got any points from killing noobs.

I do not think that I am good. I know that I am an ok player as I have beaten HURRICAN on and off my host, Nad3r on and off my host, PABLO on and off my host, Saibot on my host. So therefor I am not some randomer that thinks that they are amazing ok !

I know that but I am asking who you think is the best player EVER on Quake 4 not just in the last few months as I do not know anyone that has played in the last few months as my disk isn't working.
