Private Multiplayer Matches - Limited Vehicle Selection

Am i blind?  When I create a private multi-player match and select a race track, it gives me the same cars each time for each unique track.   I would like to select any track and have the choice of any car... how does one do that?

You can't atm in this game all the cars are preset to each race type that's why it looks like there is a limited selection.

Thanks, that's what i was fearing.  it's a must feature... don't know what they were thinking?  they must have ran out of time to implement, rather than neglect a reasonable feature.

Its something i've been screaming at for well... since the beginning of finding out.

Apparently it's due to licensing issues rather than forgetfulness.

Grid would be pretty untouchable as an online racer given the feature of any car, any track,... sucks balls eh!

I still wanna know where these other 2 DLCs are for this here Grid... we were promised 3 and so far,... only one.. :S

that makes a lot of sense, i can see companies not to keen with the idea of showing their cars damaged/totaled.  Hopefully they will relax about that.

The thing I don't get though is.. If we're not licensed to race these any car any track online.. how come we can test drive to our hearts desire any car any track offline on our own? lol.

We over at Mach Racing have a weekly fastest lap challenge (every fortnight now as we're cycling them with Forza) and it's a pain that we as a team obviously prefer to race these online together for the most part... so the Offline FLC element gets kinda canned... shrinks the game a bit especially since we must be running out of online FLC track/car combinations by now..... sucks..

Codemasters! Heres a well earned SLAP from me and all at Mach Racing! *takes run up.... tees up the arm... swings from low into high with tremendous velocity!****SLAP*** lol.

Thats gotta hurt!
