Damn people can't take loosing, they say hurtful things like when I beat them asteroth they call me spammer, and when I beat a lvl 100+ when i'm lvl 14 they say I suck. Anyone else experience this?

Yea man, all the time, people need to just accept a loss, and get over it, i know i do. Half of the people that quit out halfway through are only using the one same move over and over anyway, do they expect to win doing that, a nicely timed impact stops that an lets you beat them down, so they bring it on themselves

remember win/loss ratios are an indicator of skill, but it does not take account of the skill of you're average opponent so a higher win/loss ratio does not necessarily mean that you are better than someone with a lower win/loss ratio

People seldom quit on me, seems like people don't quit much when they're winning.

I've actually ringed myself out 3 times in a row after winning the first round and the guy was whining and complaining. Have the win, I don't give a crap.

I've been playing UFC Undisputed recently and I gotta say, the players in that game quit a hell of a lot more than the ones in SCIV easily...which makes me thankful that it really isn't that bad...

I've played perhaps 200-300 games online and I think only one person quit mid game. Also had a few positive messages surprisingly, not a lot though, however i've had a lot of abuse, but I have thick skin and they get shot down most of the time.

I get positive messages too. But it happens very rarely. More often I get hate messages from people who were mad at me for easily beating them or for the character I used or something like that. Usually I don't even respond but some of the stuff people say is hilarious.

Wow, tonight I played two horrible player matches and just took the disc out after.  Both players said something like "do you only know one move?" when (as Amy) I used (as far as I can remember):

• 8wr A+B (usually how I start against random internet players)
• 4B+K
• 6B+K (followed by 4B, B)
• 66B
• BBB
• 4A+B
• 2A
• 3B
• 2B+K
• 8K
• 8B+K
• 44B
• B+K GI
• B+K while back turned

The funny thing was, the first guy basically just tried to grab and the second guy just tried the same low attack.  And that's fine, that's their choice to play dumb and not attempt to learn or improve.  Win or lose, I don't care, but it's just not fun to play with a whining dork who's not even right about his complaints.

Alot of people claim not to be spamming but they usually spam anyway...

So what if they do?  Yes, it would be more fun if people actually tried to learn the game, but jebus I'm sick of this excuse.  I haven't even played 100 games online and I've heard it a few times already (including matches I was spectating).  Most of the times the complaint seems to come from people who just rush in and almost FORCE the other player to respond the same way.

the same happened to me 2 dayz ago..i won 2 battlez twice in a row and i got a perfect on both battlez..btw i was a lvl 12 and he was on a higher level XD!!

My most used argument if I am called a spammer is to just 'block'. I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for someone who can't hold down a single button.

This normally degenerates to them screaming profanities at me (a clear indication of them having no logical comeback). I just hound them after that until they find the block communications feature.

You are very wise, sir.  Winning is scored by statistics, a man made system for the man that needs to step on another to feel accomplished.  If someone wins by a mere margin, it's not really "separating the men from the boys" as they say, but it's a fun way to see who can win under pressure.  I can only chuckle at the old as time itself little whiny chagrin, "I'm better than you."  To me, nobody every truly wins, because in order to "win," it has to be at the expense of your own brother.

I fought a great match recently. I was Yoshi the other guy was cervantes. He spammed the Gb pump in the air and land on you move. I impacted it twice then he got fed up and charged me with a grab. I crouched the grab and sent him into a juggle, halfway through he left and sent me a message calling me a "cheap f***". I lol'd.

Yes.  You can usually get all of your moves out, which is why people think it's not laggy, they're only focused on what they're doing.  But there is a heavy delay even in 5 bar matches that hampers your defense.  So the online game comes down to a lot of slow low sweeps that gain significant advantages from the lag, and random guesswork.

But I mean hey, if you guys want to keep playing online I can't stop you.  Just don't come complaining to me about lag abuse and spamming.  I've already told you what you can do about it.

Well, I think its pretty obvious, as long as you have ONLINE GAMING, you're gonna have sore losers. It just goes with the territory.
As a female, I get alot of really nasty crap from guys when they lose, especially if they have been talking smack the whole time. But the way I look at it, if they feel the need for that, or feel the  need to quit on me, then i've REALLY beaten them down, because not only have i beat them at a VIDEO GAME..yes, folks, a VIDEO GAME, but apparently, I've cut them down to the very soul (errrr, no pun intended).....ahhh, sweet victory. LOL!!

I've never had anyone leave a ranked match on me, though social is another story, ive had hosts quit, been kicked by the host for beating them (happens alot especially when I play as Harley Quinn and keep yelling boink) ive had messages saying all I do is 1 move, seriously I played as 5 different characters against the host and in 3 rounds I went high attacks for round 1 medium for 2 and ground for 3, varying the attacks heck I think  I performed the same move twice in one match but thats it, yet all he tried to do was spam then throw me and failed badly.
Heck Ive even had someone try a denial of service attack on me whilst playing them, yeh fighting in super lag is very funny.
