Don't know what to say here, i found it very simple the second time i fought him since I wasn't sure what I was doing the first time. Just be quick with your button sequencing.
NOTE: Not sure if your going for all achievements but in order to get the Bread:Shepard symbol you need to beat him without going below 85% health. Your armor will go down first but don't let your health go down too low or you wont get this symbol.
