So i beat mentor and i didnt find it too bad, but i know Master Ninja is almost impossible. Im a bit scared to attempt it though haha but i want the 100G and the costume and Gamerpic.
I was just wondering is it easier to follow a guide of some sort?? And are there any parts where ill just give up and cry?
Also is anyone else here walking the path of the MN?

just pull out your dragon sword and annilhiate any enemies that stand in your way yea its gonna seem tough at the start but this is ninja gaiden not mario with a little practice it will seem all to easy trust me

Well i noticed it getting easier after chapter 2 on mentor but i cant imagine it being the same on Master Ninja, anyway im mostly worried that there are no more machine gun Ninajs (which were are actually ok) Instead there are always advanced IS ninjas all the time right?

since your just starting out only the first 3 chapters are brutal if your pretty good with the dragon sword or the lunar staff they wont be that hard there are only the machine gun ninjas on ch7,and 9 if i remember correctly theyve all been replaced with is ninjas but these guys will be easy 2 beat if you can master the half circle ut with the lunar staff even a 2000 ut will either kill the is ninjas or it will leave them with one arm i reccommend you power the lunar up as fast as possible this will make the first 3 chapters alot easier after that the game just gets easier

Use X-X-Y to get OT's going with the gleaming blade then chain 360 ET's followed by OT's will be a good choice until you get the LS so that you keep I-Frames going. Use alot of shurikens, throws, counter attacks, Reverse and Furious Wind techniques. Then chain 360 ET's with the LS. After Chapter 5, It all feels back to normal.

Except each fight just last a lot longer due to the sheer number of enemies. I hate the IS ninjas!

By the way, I just beat Chapter 8 mid-boss, the blind idiot and his minions (two mechs). I didn't know you where suppose to kill the two mechs to end the match, so I spent a god 15-20 minutes running in circles killing the rocket launchers that kept respawning.... duh!

I didn't need to farm any for Chapter 2 but you can if needed before jumping down in the village building. There will be 4 Mages there that you can farm over and over with the LS if you want to. Same case scenario with Rasetsu once inside as at the end of Chapter 1.

It's definatly do-able with enough patience, and help from the guys here. Its true what they say first three chapters are the hardest. (that said iv broken 2 controllers thanks to alexi haha)

Well im on chapter 8 now, i fly thgrough it after chapter 2, i even have 200,000+ essence. Before i complete MNMi want to get the Mentor of Missions achievement. I have 13/16 mentor medals and all i need tto do is the plane, the sewers and the m,ission with the greater fiends.

Flying swallow off the bat followed by XXY-B-Y on the next nearest enemy is a good way to release essence for a UT chain, utilise i-frames by guillotine throws/block dashing through any IS stuck in your butt, don't forget you can always break the barrels by the gate for yellow essence to begin chaining your UT's too.

I never thought I'd get through that 1st chapter on MN, I still haven't finished MN myself but I've made it to chapter 12 so far and trust me I am far from great at this game, just keep at it mate, you'll get there, best of luck man!
