Is Ninja Gaiden 2 worth buying?

MazorePrime 06-07-2009, 10:32 PM
It's pretty cheap now and I absolutely loved the demo. So is it worth buying? I've heard is extremely hard.. is it beatable (For a noob to the series) on easy mode, at the least?

Best buy in my book!
And it has lower difficulty settings everyone can beat. But indeed the higher difficulties are pretty hard.

Once I jumped in the air and missed, I landed on the floor and fell off..

Its a heck lot better then that crappy game "Ninja Blade" in my book....The difficulty is okay for everyone....But indeed..the highier you go in difficulty...the more challenging and at times it will feel cheesy....But Mentor should be okay for you if you are a starter...Good game overall....! Go for it if you see it for 20$ or so...I got mines when it was 30$ and got every normal achievemnts(not the market place add-on content ones) in the game already in my other account...Stick out tongue [:P]

Well if you loved the demo then you'll love the game and for the price you can get it for these days it's a bargain, it can seem a little tough even on the easier settings at first until you learn how to play, but not enough to make you throw your pad at a wall, after the initial learning curve you'll be flying along on those settings, enjoy!

That was a joke right Samus? MazorePrime will have to beat Warrior first anyway but Mentor, for a beginner? Surely you mean Acolyte.

Hahaha...my back...Yeah it was a joke, a big error I made...The statement is  the Alcolyte or "Acolyte" difficulty...Forgot the names of difficulties...Its been almost 2 months now since I last played it....I find it funny how the difficulties are labled though...for me... It should be Alcolyte, Mentor, Warrior, and then Master...Because I think you become a mentor 1st (kind of like a pupil "student") then you eventually become a fighting Warrior...Then finally a master if you wanna go beyond the warrior way...Or I think thats how it goes...But sorry for my mistake...I meant Acolyte "MazorePrime"....Stick out tongue [:P]

I picked it up for $20 last week and am enjoying it.  One of the best buys I have made in a long time.

acolyte its when you arrive and try to learn what your teacher says

warrior its the level you gain for learning what your master teach you

mentor its when you get really good at what you have been teach , so you can teach others

master well .......

I did when I played it last year.

Personally, I found this to be one of the most difficult games I've ever played.  It was still very fun though.

I beat the game on easy mode, but now I really want to re-buy it, saw it for only $15. Try and beat it on a harder difficulty, sounds fun. This game is the second hardest I've played. First is DoDonPachi.
Mark my words:

will one day be a cult classic.
