Problems changing music using steering wheel

I use the official Microsoft wheel but I have encountered a problem when trying to change the style of music using the d-pad.

Left and right works fine (to change the music track) but the up and down does not change the music type.

The d-pad works fine because I have tested it on the dashboard and other games.

Does anybody have any ideas if this is a known issue?

Hmm... I never listen to PGR radio as I have my PC right next to my 360 but I'll see if I have the problem too later this evening.
