Might be a stupid question, but is the server for this game still up? I know EA tends to shut down their servers after they release a sequel.

They do? That would be stupid. I don't see why they would shut it down for Skate. I still play it online, as do others, and E.A would get bad ratings if they did that.

Have not bought the game yet. But since I know it can still be played online I will likely be picking it up soon.

EA has done it before like the fight night franchises.
