I saw that it is available on Major's Minute. I go to the games market place, and it's not there. I go to xbox.com and I can see a description but no option to download. Anyone?

I thought they were gonna give us warning before they started delisting games...

Would be nice but it sure doesn't look like it because of both DD and Lost Cities being pulled without any notice.

I hate that this game got delisted.  I have had it downloaded for a while now, and a friend of mine was going to download it so we could start playing it together some times, but it's not there anymore.  :(  I wish there was still a way he could get this game.  I wish they'd have warned us about it getting delisted.

Yes I agree. This is pathetic on microsoft's part. Some of us spend money on other arcade games before getting to some. Next on my list was DD and now I can't get it. Why? Is the economy hitting microsoft too that they can't keep a tiny emulated game available? Yet games like Vigilante 8, Yie Ar Kung-Fu, and others are still up? Do we really need 2 crossword games, 2 poker games, 5 chess games? Yet a major classic is deleted? F* Merv Griffin and his crosswords. I want double dragon back.

Technically, the titles weren't a part of the delisting policy; that was canceled after the NXE was revealed since the NXE had a more organized marketplace which eliminated the need to delist Arcade games. Lost Cities and Yaris were removed because of licensing problems (or the license was expired), and according to Gamerbytes, Double Dragon as well as Speedball 2 were removed because Empire Interactive had financial troubles.

Finally someone with answers as to why these games are vanishing, thank you.

If you had already purchased the game and deleted it, you can still download the trial from your download history under "manage account", however if you did not unlock the full game before july 1st, then your s.o.l.

So what you are also saying is, if we did purchase it, we can re-download the full version through the account history?

My original console suffered a RRoD a while back and I realized that I had never transferred my Content Licenses. So I followed the directions at  http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/licensemigration/ and transferred all licenses to my current console. Double Dragon showed up in my download history so I redownloaded.  Lo and behold it downloaded and was working.  I was finally able to play it a few mins ago.

I just tried it, and it wont play the full version. For some reason, eventhough I own Double Dragon I was unable to play the full version, so I deleted it and redownloaded it, still just the trial. Maybe I can demand my points back, since they essentially forced me to return the game against my will.

Tried that. There's a line at the end of every download there is a sentence...

"There are no refunds for this item."

Oh, I know that, but in this case it wasnt any of us deciding 'hey, I dont like this game' or 'Dang, I need those points for this game coming out now what can I refund to afford it?' it was the game vanishing off the service and at the same time making our previously purchased and downloaded copies no longer work against our will. I figure since it isnt any of our fault or choice, we should be entitled to at least some of our points back.

Yep, happened to me too. Just today. I couldn't play because of the download the full version claim,which I did when I got my 360 2 years ago, so I deleted & tried again. My active downloads shows it's pending. Little dissapointed.

Ah man that sucks for you guys.  To have the arcade version of Double Dragon was one of the reasons I bought my 360.  I would be beyond pissed if that happened to me.

Well, I'm a dumbazz. Just went online to xbox.com/drm & transfered licenses to my 360,which I had to send in about a year ago (dang E74 error), & now everything works great. Guess that's what I should've done in the first place. Man I love this game.

I just bought some X-Box points to download Double Dragon. I was so disappointed that you can't download it any more. That was my main reason for buying the points. Instead I'll have to settle for Contra & Yie Ar Kung Fu.

To get the full game back just log on to your account on xbox360.com and click the little drop down menu on the right and go to "My Account". Than on the left hand side click "Purchase History". Find Double Dragon and click "add to queue". It will install the full version back on to your 360 and it works with no problems at all.

i say put double dragon back on the game marketplace .. ?? who agrees  with me ..?? anyone ..??
