Re: PGR4 questions
There is no upgrading or custom painting in the game. All the cars are fixed performance in each class.

Re: PGR4 questions
That is not quite true. You can paint it with a large option of patterns and colors. As for tuning, the biggest challenge is in learning the correct cars to pick for the track and weather conditions.

What a nip flip. I can't beleive you say there are no custom paint jobs. Haha, check the menus some more, you can edit 1 custom job and save it. They give you different patterns and you can change the orientation of said pattern on the car body to your liking. You can then go as far as to change the colors of main, and 2 accent colors. Learn your pgr before you give advice.

You are correct, and the limited functionality that is offered may satisfy the original posters question.

My idea of custom painting is the functionality you get in Forza 2, where you can create whatever your talent can support.

Being able to change colour and orientation of a small selection of pre configured patterns falls some way short of custom painting imo.

Haha, didn't mean to put you on blast like that, or did I? At any rate, correct Forza has a much deeper customization, for me that game fell short though, I've never been a big fan of that series. I like the driving much better in PGR for whatever reason. Too much customization can be overwhelming and as useless as t's on a door knob. Although I do wish there will be a PGR 5, and that customization will be bumped up a notch or two in terms of at least paint jobs. I mean the cars they give you do not really need to be tuned up at all, in A class at least.
