level 2 help please!!!

I am fighting the ninja boss on level 2 in the burning room. How am i supposed to kill him? Every attempt I have made so far he kills me in about 20-40 seconds.

I am playing on acolyte. Is that the easiest difficulty?

Yes it is but don't fret. Many people have problems with Genshin. This is a purely defensive battle. Block and dash away from his combos until he finishes. Then strike with a short concince combo like XXY (both the Dragon Sword and the Lunar Staff have a good XXY combo) then block and dash away some more. DO NOT JUMP! lol Unless he's charging then it's okay to dash jump to dodge. My experience with the Claws is limited at a low upgrade so I can't say for certain. I only messed with them fully upgraded.

Block a lot and wait for him to do a strong charge at you, either block it or try and side step out of the way and then while he is recovering from his strong strike.. move in on him and do Dragon Sword's combo X,Y,Y...Works like a charm for me...After you successfully hit him with the combo when you land back...make a distance between him and block again...wait for his strong strike again and repeat when he misses and is recovering...Lunar is also good with X,X,Y...try that. Stick out tongue [:P]

This guy is also giving me trouble. I seem to notice that before and after his charged attack he is vulnerable to attacks. The Falcon's Talons are not great as you need to be a little too close for them to do any damage. So far (still trying) I am using the Dragon Blade and the XXY combo and then dashing out of the way.

Stupidly, I used my Health Increase Items (the ones that increase with a single use) before the battle, so all I have is 2 Medium and 3 Small health items. If I get hit with one charged attack I need to use something! Surprise [:O]

FT's leveled at 2 using a -> X-X-X combo will take him down very quickly on Acolyte. You will only need to attack him 3 times and the fight is over.

Never argue with an Idiot. He'll only bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

yea this guy is tough take a couple of bananas out of the fridge and throw them at the tv works everytime Surprise [:O]

i dont know why not banana throwing is a legit tactic try it out at least once i promise it works Big Smile [:D]

I had trouble with him too, but I can beat him every time now, try blocking and just using x over and over with the lunar staff. If you can get him cornered it keeps stunning him & stops his more damaging attacks mostly.

I'm currently stuck on this part too. I have 1 healing herb or whatever it is, and keep getting crushed. But I will not give up, becuase this game is amazing!!

Block and evade around the room until he finishes his combo and leaves himself open -or- does his jumping attack and lands to leave himself open. I just used the Dragon Sword and did the X, Y, X combo, dashed back away and went back to blocking/evading. Rinse and repeat.
