I am in the hotel and there is like 4-5 needlers on this one floor (not the elevator) and I am having trouble dodging attacks and countering, any suggestions?

dont be in the attack stance and then dodge and hit them with a quick pipe combo

I never thought the hallways in the hotel left much room for dodging them. Also, it's difficult to dodge multiple needlers.  I found that the doorway from the stairwell was my friend.  Needlers come right up to it, but they do not pass through.  From the safety of that doorway, I could step forward, hack with my axe, and step back.  When exploring further down the hall, if I saw or heard another needler, I'd run back to that doorway. Took a while but I finally killed them all.
