Where is the Rifle?  Have gotten lots of ammo, but never found rifle.

The rifle can only be found if you solve an optional puzzle at the Dargento Cemetary. There's a step-by-step instruction in this really good walkthrough on GameFAQs; search for "STREETS OF SILENT HILL" (without the quotation marks).

ive already got it but can you still get the police marksman rifle evan if you dont have the m14

in the graveyard at thestart of silent hill,
gotta go to the other side of the map, into the office building where you pickup the key, in the sink at the door there will be a turquoise stone,

go back to the graveyard and collect the garnet stone, place them into the Janus statue, get the key and open the gate
