I just bought pro evo 2009 today and every game I play, the game in unplayable because of the lag.  I know my internet connection is not bad.  Am I the only one experiencing this?  I'm tempted to take the game back tomorrow if it happens all the time.

Everyone else lags online too mate. The game is sooooo broken online. Pes and lag go together like Little and Large.. Yet there is pes6,a three year old game that plays fine.. Good work konami..

That maybe,but it still plays better than anything after it. I wouldn't even discuss the colour of orange juice with the people at konami when it comes to online.. I am sure there is a monkey in charge of the netcode...

I thought there were shortcuts for quick formation changes on PES6 that meant you didnt have to pause? I vaguely remember going 4-0-6 when people passed it around like that.

yeah you can execute a manual gameplan,  but obviously you've got to spend all the time having it setup first.   Just seems so ridiculous that you have to do that kind of thing to counter what is basically a bug.   Theres no guarantee either that one of your forwards will steal the ball even if you do execute it.   Then they could suddenly go up the field and you'd have no players either.  Silly.  

Not sure why people still get excited about PES6,  it really is a terrible, clumsy game.  Maybe because its so rubbish, thats why it works online ?  It seems konami can't deliver anything properly,  so you either get a rubbish game that works online,  or a decent offline game that is unplayable online.

No idea what we'll end up with on PES2010,  maybe a proper xbox forum if we're lucky  ?!  No doubt we'll still be using the PES2008 forum though, LOL.
