On Master Ninja, I cheated my way through the game. How about you?
I'm admitting to the fact that the only way I was going to beat MNM is by using the environment to my benefit and skip any fight I could. For instance, I would run into tight hallways or hide around corners and spam the Scythe UT to take out the pesky IS ninjas. To me the bosses seem easier to overcome than the IS ninjas.

Also, I spent hours essence farming, but didn't need it until the end where I just upgraded every single weapon for the heck of it.

What did you do to beat Master Ninja? Spill the beans and share... especially if you didn't use mad skills, but something creative instead!

Skipping the best fight of the game??
On my first run through on MN I did skip and despawn enemies but that is why I did a second playthrough which was search and destroy...Everyone!

Once I jumped in the air and missed, I landed on the floor and fell off..

Dont worry, skipping fights isnt cheating, if its posssible then it makes sense to avoid fights.
Even essence farming isnt cheating...i mean you wouldnt call it cheating to say.....maybe get your skills up on Oblivion would you?
I actually tried getting every fight to get a good karma score....the only fights i missed was in the room with the Falcons talons and the ToVs

Funny OT.

The 360 is a piece of crap yet I love it.
The Ps3 is a fine piece of engineering yet I don't give a crap.
Go figure....

I did not farm. I was stingy with my money. I only upgraded two weapons and used them through most of the game. (Lunar and Eclipse) I was also stingy about my healing items. If I felt I could get through a fight without it then I would try and try until I either did or caved in and used one or two. By the last save I was able to max out all of my weapons and max out all of my items.

Agreed...I actually killed a few but not all of them...after maybe 30 or so or a bit under...I started going up the freaking stairs to avoid more harm to my health as I was actually taking abuse from them from time to time...There is no shame to skip a few battles....as a matter of fact....That was pretty much the only one I kind of skiped, besides some Test of Valors that were too tough and challenging for me in Master...Mentor was okay for all Test of Valor for me Stick out tongue [:P]

Yeah, I skipped every test of valor since spending 20-40 minutes in one fight without dying is freakin hard. Not to mention time consuming to try over and over.

I guess I should spend more time looking at others cinema and learn, but I ain't patient enough. NG2 is one heck of a game though. I spent easily 250 hours total on that game. No other game has kept interested that long, not to mention how intensely I grind my teeth at every enemy encounter. Continuing this I would have no more teeth!

Bigalski, I have seen your videos and you play at a different level. Even after seeing your videos billion of times, I can't replicate....

By the way, how much time did you put into this game?

I'm curious to see how much time you have to put in to this game to get good. Seeing how I'm still skipping fights, I'm just a acolyte disguised as a Master Ninja!

I'll admit I farmed enough to level the LS to level 2 before moving on to chapter 2 on MN. Yeah I learned quite a bit from Bigalski in chat and videos.

Never argue with an Idiot. He'll only bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Theres no harm in essence farming. You wouldnt call it cheating to collect ammo before a fight in a shooter? Its the same thing honest.
Besides i think most people essenced farmed a little. Even if they dont admit it.

LoL...I admitt I farmed a bit..or rather more than quite a bit...I think I spent like 8 or 10 hours farming until my 1st 3 weapons were maxed....but thats was only in Master....In Mentor I didn't need to farm...So I would'nt worry too much or there should'nt be any shame if people farm for quite a while...After all, 1st time you step into Master, feels like a freaking nightmare and a long road despite it being 14 chapters...More like 14 chapters of mostly torture....But once you cross that finish line on Master.....Oh does victory taste so sweet inside of you....Stick out tongue [:P]
