Oxmpodcast.com has a virus?

ive been trying to go oxmpodcast.com but im always getting a virus, and my antivirus keeps telling me its dangerous, can u fix your site?

Just subscribe via iTunes or Zune marketplace, both are free. Also, have you tried the links in the new podcast is up thread, those should just open up a player and begin streaming the audio.

Ha, ya somebody hacked all the Future US podcast sites and inserted a virus. PC Gamer was hving some issues with it too. Apparently this has been fixed.

Yeah, our software was way way way out of date and it was only a matter of time. We had some internal issues about who was going to update it and...red tape sucks.

We're thinking about completely overhauling our podcast delivery system, but the iTunes/Zune Marketplace option is still the best, and will keep you hassle-free.

No, I went into the files and found a backdoor trojan sniffer (which sounds incredibly dirty) lodged in, of all things, the footer of a theme we weren't even using.

Then I tried to "improve" things by updating the software and I broke everything.

So we went with a different system altogether and now we're having some issues with that, but...once they're solved, it should be okay again.

You will ultimately have to subscribe to the feed listed at http://oxmpodcast.podbean.com and it will eventually work right. It was fine this weekend, it's busted this AM, we're looking into why. Now that we pay someone to maintain the feed, it better work!

Im surprised Future doesn't allocate a small budget to ther gaming wings' podcasts. In the world of gaming journalism podcasts are almost a mainstay nowadays and so much work goes into them. But I guess its not really in your job description, eh?

Keep doing what you're doing though, we the fans truly appreciate it.

Keep doing what you're doing though, we the fans truly appreciate it.

Im sure they would put some of their budget into it if they were required to do for their job but the podcast currently is just a labor of love. Plus with the recession its even harder to put money into other things when they're probably trying hard enough just to the keep the mag running.

I doubt that a magazine publisher is feeling the effects of the recession that hard.........

My only point was the fact that Dan & Ryan ae now footing the podbean bill for what can be veiwed as company advertizing.
