**spoiler for (ending) sewer level**


towards the end when you fight the 3 needlers i ran to the save spot and faught them off while they were climbing the ledge, i also saved after killing the 2nd one so i would only have one more to kill... after (saving) and killing the last one (needler) i go back to the gate that i let Elle crawl under (gate15), and the Siam wont attack.

anyone know a fix to this glitch? i saved over my previous save so going back to earlier one isnt a option...



Allow more then 1 Avatar per account so my wife can play 1vs100 with her own Avatar!

I did the same thing as you in one of my games, and got the same result.  The game seems to lose count of the 3 needlers if you save after killing 1 or 2 of them.  It is a glitch.  As far as I know, you will have to go back to a previous save. If none are available, you'll have to restart.   Use those save slots to ALWAYS keep a few recent saves available! 
If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be called research.

theres no way im going to start the whole game over again, and your right i should have kept more then one save after reading about the game having weird glitches from several different sources.. ah well it was a fun game while it lasted ill play the next one if another SilentHill games comes to the 360.

The exact same thing happened to me. I was low on health and figured if I died I would need to save so I don't have to restart, I did. After fighting two of the Needlers, I was one hit away from dying, I save again. Mistake of course, now I can't do anything. Poor Elle is stuck over there and I'm just letting Alex stand around thinking, maybe, just maybe the last Needler will come out. Oh well, starting over a third time >.< Damn this game. If I wasn't in love with this series, I would quit.

Wow that really sucks, feel like somebody should say I'm sorry dude.  I'm getting killed on the 3rd Needler and I basically almost broke the disc in half.  I really like this game but no save points close AND no health kits really is disappointing.  I'm just playing on normal.  Everything was fine until I ran into the first boss in the Hotel.  I used everything I had to get out of that one.  I may go back to that save and start from there.  Konami is that Japanese?  Pardon my ignorance.  What is it with the Japanese, all Capcom games are brutal, RE5, Lost Planet, Dead Rising.  It's as if they don't want you to play lol.  You do feel like you've accomplished something if you get through it though.  I guess that's what their going for.  And again, I really like this game.  It's too bad some, Japanese or not, are so tough it feels more like work then fun.
What if...I became a Spectre? Conrad...I haven't been shot in the head nearly enough times to think that's a good idea.
