The exact same thing happened to me. I was low on health and figured if I died I would need to save so I don't have to restart, I did. After fighting two of the Needlers, I was one hit away from dying, I save again. Mistake of course, now I can't do anything. Poor Elle is stuck over there and I'm just letting Alex stand around thinking, maybe, just maybe the last Needler will come out. Oh well, starting over a third time >.< Damn this game. Wow that really sucks, feel like somebody should say I'm sorry dude. I'm getting killed on the 3rd Needler and I basically almost broke the disc in half. I really like this game but no save points close AND no health kits really is disappointing. I'm just playing on normal. Everything was fine until I ran into the first boss in the Hotel. I used everything I had to get out of that one. I may go back to that save and start from there. Konami is that Japanese? Pardon my ignorance. What is it with the Japanese, all Capcom games are brutal, RE5, Lost Planet, Dead Rising. It's as if they don't want you to play lol. You do feel like you've accomplished something if you get through it though. I guess that's what their going for. And again, I really like this game. It's too bad some, Japanese or not, are so tough it feels more like work then fun.
What if...I became a Spectre? Conrad...I haven't been shot in the head nearly enough times to think that's a good idea.
