Hi. I went back to MNM the other day, and all was going well untill i killed the gold dragon, (sorry i forgot which chapter i think it might be 13, its before you fight elezabet) then opened the gate to the massive stairs. On mentor i just UT'd with the sythe all the way up there but i got bum rushed on MNM and died all withing about 30 seconds when the IS ninja's showed up lol.

Do you guys have any tips for this, the frame rate melts as well which doesnt help, i thought about running to the top of the stairs i might try that tmz.

You can run by all of that up the stairs if you want. You do not have to fight it. But, A little wind ninpo to get essence going then UT constantly will yield massive karma points as well as money. This area to me is actually the funnest part of the entire game.

 For Elizebet, You can stay a good distance from her and use a full UT from the Scythe and it will take her down for a safe fight or you can use wind-run + flying swallow to knock her on her knees (only works when she is in flight) and then quickly switch to the LS and use a B + B + very brief pause to start B + B again quickly and she will never get back up.

This is indeed one of the best fights in the game like Mkadt said and can be done the same way as you did on Mentor; Scythe UT your way to about halfway and after that no more IS ninjas will spawn. You have to start UT-ing from the beginning; through the gate jump a bit to the right and charge the Scythe and let it rip and immediately charge the next, if done correctly you won't get hit. Just let them rip continuously. The only hazzard is that sometimes there's just 1 essence so then you'll have to charge it to a Lv. 2. Once you get the hang of it it's great fun. I have doen it dozens of times that way just for fun.
After the first wave, (about when you have UT-ed yourself halfway up the stairs) no more IS ninjas spawn and it's smooth sailing.

Once I jumped in the air and missed, I landed on the floor and fell off..

Vigoorian flail at level 3 works great on the stairs. I stayed at the bottom killing enemies until I got sick of it. I think the flail is very useful for large groups of enemies.

i cant belive this is my favorite part of the game its brutaly awesome why run away, i actually hate that tecmo change the original stairs , the first time i get to them and see more than 50 enemys in fornt of me , i just thougt this was the more epic scene  i have ever play .
few months later theres a freaking update and every time i get to the stairs theres no one.
 they come running from the back but they come in a single line like dumb

I just did that a little while ago.

My frame-rate dropped ; my right thumb started to get tired. :(

you know theres a save dragon just up the first stairs and just before you jump to a point of no return you can return and save , taht way you only have to figth a very small group of  scorpion girls ,and the gold vangelf  that its so easy to kill just 2 powers of the art of the píercing void , and boila you are in the stairs to enjoy.
