I think the graphics look worse, and the gameplay doesnt feel as smooth. The first one was amazing and i will prolly play the second one I just wish it was more like the first and the ice scene is not a good fit for this game. What do yall think?

Playing - Anything that comes to mind.

I think the Ice scene is the first bit, and there will be lots of other places to go to. Graphics are about the same, and yeah they could have been improved, but as long as the gameplay is good, I'm willing to let the graphics part go. I don't think the gameplay is that bad. The controls are just a little bit different, and take a bit of getting used to. (Hated my first playthrough of the demo, Loved the second) One thing I will say, is that I doubt the storyline will be as good on this game, as opposed to the first one. Overall, not the best possible sequel, but I think its still pretty good.

i have played demos before i got the game and i can say that most times the demo is naver as good as the gme so lets wait and see if the game is as god as the demo or better.

The demo infact is a bit disapointing, but the graphics have been improved. The water and some effects i discovered so far. The most disapointing thingy is that minions with a mount won't pick up the energy. Neither I've seen them attacking. Only their mount seem to attack.

Anyway, iam glad they haven't change the controls. Camera is still not the best, but you can handle it.

Tho I like the new features like mounts, minion tunnels and all the new foes so far. Thus elfs just look and sound like ***-elfs. Gonna punish them :D

So far, i look forward for the release and hope to enjoy the game as much as the prequel.

Same. Everytime I had to tell a minion to get lifeforce without them doing it on their own.

No your just being an quantum singularity. the demo was released about a month or less before the games release, its not a beta its a demo so it should be very similar if not identical to the full game. so his opinion on the game is totally valid. Also did you mistake his opinion for the a view on the full game? i dont think so and if you did ur a bit slow dont you think. to the OP yeah i agree i think the graphics and gameplay seemed a bit worse.

Couldnt disagree more. I loved the demo, and cant wait for the game! As someone already said.its more of the same which IMO is a GOOD thing! LOVED the first game! I also think the graphics (although not that much) are improved over the first...the art direction is a lil different, but look at the water effects, etc. Much nicer.

The demo was so-so for me. Didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. I blame it mainly on being way too short. Overlord 2 Demo's graphics compared to the first Overlord graphics didn't seem any better, just slightly more polished. One thing I hated the most was on how the camera hasn't really changed. I know one of the analogs is for sweeping minions, but I still would have loved an easier way to view the angles I wanted without having to turn the character himself around all the time. It just always felt awkward on how the camera was set while pillaging, battling heroes and doing side exploring for the scenery. I'm still getting the game of course. The humor is obviously still there and I loved the new feature they added for your minions. Mount wolves and the such? Brilliant!

Just lock the camera and you can view almost any angle you like to.

The point of the game is the gameplay, visuals comes later.  From the demo, they do a good enough job.  I'll be playing for the humor and gameplay.
