This game is probably just not your style of game. I noticed Unreal 3 in your recently played list. This game is nothing like that one. In this case, taking your time is not a tactic used to make the game seem longer. No, it's because this game is tactical, and failing to move slowly and methodically (i.e. tactically) through levels will end your life quickly. While it still isn't what I'd call "realistic" it definitely feels more like real combat than any Unreal game.
If you don't like it, that's cool. You might, however, want to stay away from any game that calls itself a tactical shooter when you trade this game in.
Thanks for the break down. I actually gave the game a chance and continued playing it. Unfortunatly as much as you must "take your time," there are moments where you are pressed for time, for instance, clearing that room with the bomb in the tower. I redid it about 7-8 times. It wasn't very immersive.
Im playing the game in small steps and im on Dantes Casino or whatever its called.
I actually went back to UT3 and now I totally suck at it. I used to be able to play on insane, I found myself learning how to play on normal again...
I'm totally out of my zone now.
