Initial Start Burnouts...
Is there any means of not having this happen with lower class cars? At first I thought it was just my inability or the mechanics were really altered from PGR 3, but I didn't have this happen when I was playing the arcade mode as opposed to career, but whatever of the Class F cars I use within there I always burnout at the start, and that makes it pretty impossible from what I can tell to beat anything greater than easy difficulty within races with opponents (as opposed to trial or points style races).

Forgive me for not checking out an FAQ on this yet too, but I'd rather get a quick fix answer if I could.

I don't care about this thing, so why should you?

Yea, do not hold the acceleration trigger all the way in when taking off... When I do not want to burn out I normally hold the RPM's at like 6K before launch, and then when I get the green light I let off the gas until I feel the tires grip, at which point I start to give it more gas... You will learn over time...

Also, the GMC Cyclone is an F Class truck which can be purchased from the PGR Shop, and that will grip off the line even with it floored because it is AWD...

Re: Initial Start Burnouts...
So cars with greater grip are less likely to burn out? I'm not too practically involved with automotive things so I don't know much about the technical nature of the driving; I love the drift mechanics of PGR and that's it really (I'm also a Need For Speed and Ridge Racer fan :-P).

How can you "feel" the tires grip? Do you mean hear a certain noise? And (I should've mentioned this within my other post) is there any means to disable the different shots of the course before the start of a race (within career mode) and simply have your view on the car's speedometer as in arcade mode?

I really do not think the "Grip" attribute affects how a car launches, but rather how fast it can corner...

Hmm, I am finding this hard to explain beacuse I play racing games so much I can just "feel" the tires catch... When they catch you should feel the car to start to move in a forward motion, the tires should stop smoking, and the RPM's will drop some...

Before the race? No, I do not think you can disable those different camera shots...
