License Picture Question

JimmyStewart 06-27-2009, 4:25 PM
I hooked up my vision camera to play online and send out some mugshots and play around with the camera options.  I ended up accidentally taking a picture with my camera and replacing my gamerpic on my Burnout license.  I don't want to have my vision pic on my Burnout license though, and I can't figure out anyway to get my gamerpic back on there!  Am I stuck with vision camera pics from now on?

No you can still change your GP.   You can have "two" gamerpics. If you use a vision cam it can only be a personal pic that can only be veiwed by you and people on you freinds list. but you canjust go to edit your profile and chose the same pic for you personal and gamer

I get how that works with the gamerpic itself, but my problem is with the license in the actual game itself.  By default the license shows up as your gamerpic.  When I was playing online I had the camera installed.  During the single player portion I won a challenge and I guess it was taking a picture.  I was kinda spamming on the buttons to try and "hurry" things along and it snapped a picture that replaced my gamerpic on my burnout license, it didn't actually replace my gamerpic in my gamertag.  I can see the option to take new pictures for my license, but I don't see any option to put my gamerpic back into my license.

FWIW I did try to go and change my gamerpic to something different to see if that might overwrite the vision picture in the game.  It didn't work.  I'm guessing there's no way to remove this license picture once the game finds out you have a camera!  I'll go check in the save files to see if there's a pic on there.

Now that you say that it got me thinking, I have a personal pic in my license and I've never tried to change it off of it. So given your new info, you probably cant change it off your license unless the game allows it......maybe in a new update they will cange things

Try unplugging your camera and then completing an event. Maybe it will replace the pictrue with your GP. Then when you have the camera set up when it takes the picture you should be able to press the B button and not take another one.

Not sure if that will work but you can try it.

Something else to try is disabling the Vision Camera support in the game options.
