Thinking of switching server

Currently on Phoenix, have been for about 5 years. but now i've got to a stage where most of my time is in Whitegate and i'm just seeing too much japanese text for my liking. Im based in UK and would like if possible a more english based server. I'm guessing Phoenix is about 50/50 at the moment.
Any suggestions? Also i've never thought about or looked into server migration before. Any tips advice on doing it?

My advice would be to create a character on the new server you want to move to just so you can try it out for a while. You can see how AH prices compare and things like that. I understand this isn't a simple task in this game, but if you're talking about spending money for transferring servers, you can probably afford a little time a money to getting it right.

I personally am on Siren and have no complaints, but then again, I haven't been on many other servers either. It has a medium to medium-high population according to recent figures I've seen. Hopefully that helps. Good luck.

I wouldn't leave Phoenix. I have been on many servers, still on 3 others and Phoenix is one of the better servers. Fairy is decent, Leviathan was great but is slowly on it's death bed, Asura to much issues and drama. Valefor utter crap.

When I shifted to Phoenix i was more happy. Some servers are simply not as friendly, and low populated, you will find it hard to have decent endgame shells and forget getting anything done or leveling other jobs. Stay away from Valefor, it's utterly horrible.

IF you think there is to much Japanese text on Phoenix, you are in for a rude awakening on another server, some are far worse, and the Japanese on them are not as friendly as they are on Phoenix. Valefor is an exampele of where they will announce and say Japanese only.

Better off where you are, Phoenix is a great server compared to many. You can try Fairy but things have changed there so I am not certain, and the economy is much harder there as well.

I would say try Bismarck. I love being on the server. Seen LOTS of people with xbox 360's on the server so if you ever want to use xbox live party, shouldn't be a problem. There IS a lot of japanese people on and shouting in Whitegate at night *(which is to be expected), but after like 10am est, it's just about always those that speak English. Doesn't seem to lack ingame ls for various activities either. Only thing that a bit annoying is trying to get a party started for mission, as it seems to take a while to get a group of people to take care of missions that you have to fight a NM for in a storyline.

Dude, that was the last time I played it on the 360. I play on PC now since my 360 hard drive doesn't have enough space for this game.

Now try adding something to the conversation rather than ridiculing someone trying to help the OP out.

i quit that game long ago. that game is like from 7 years old. it's a waste of money to play now

i quit that game long ago. that game is like from 7 years old. it's a waste of money to play now, IMHO.

I am on Fenrir, always have been and probably always will be. I am not going to lie and say that I have never thought of switching but for the most part I am happy with it.

I have come back from a 3 month hiatus and I was pleasently suprised to see the economy getting better which is always a plus.
