Criterion wouldn't leave their gamers hangin' with 1.9. Would they?
I'm loving 1.9, the island all of the PDLC, but apparently, they don't have any plans past the Island. I think they need to come up with ONE more thing to add to the Game so we can have Burnout Paradise 2.0. Do YOU have any ideas?

2.0 will be the last as it will be a fix patch for any problems caused by 1.9.. there's always another

SV: Re: Criterion wouldn't leave their gamers hangin' with 1.9. Would they?
Especially since their next game is NSF.

It's definitely disappointing that despite the island, cops and robbers, and car packs, they still couldn't just tack on some bike races (or at least online make-your-own-route unranked bike races). I'd take bike races over any of the car packs and cops and robbers if I had to choose.

And to have offline races on the island but no online races, that's just dumb. At least in the case of the island, we paid for it, unlike the often used excuse for the bikes that people throw out, with it being free and therefore we should accept it unchallenged.

Apparently it's no rumour and has been confirmed by EA themselves.

Oh well I might actually buy the new NFS then since it's actually being made by a good company.

I'll definitely give it more consideration than past NFS, but I still want an actual Burnout game. Maybe they'll do the smart thing and just take a Burnout game and slap the NFS branding on it. The title even makes itself - Need For Speed: Burnout.

Given how companies and marketing usually do things though, they'll force Criterion to make a game attempting to cater to fans of exclusively one title (either Burnout or NFS) and end up alienating both.

Hopefully they will i don't know why but Burnout is the only racing game since NFSMW that has actually been good All the games before MW were good the last few after MW have sucked ***. Prostreet was ok.

Apparently EA is kind of splitting NFS up into more arcade and more sim. Shift will be more sim, and Nitro will be more arcade/casual.

I don't know if the Criterion NFS will be the next installment of the arcade product line, but it could be something simillar to Call of Duty, where the titles alternate between Treyarch and Infinity Ward.

Either way, until we get some more info on the title and everything, it's hard to say whether it'll be good for NFS fans, good for Burnout fans, or good for either.

I can't see what would be bad about ramming other cars off the road and getting car customization.

Bake me a cake.
