So, i decided to load up my copy of burnout paradise and start fresh with a new save (my last save was barely into the game, so i figured i could recover what i lost quickly). I downloaded the 1.9 update, deleted the 1.7, and jumped in. As the game was loading, I got a strange message that "the main profile has changed" or something like that, which i didn't. It asked if I wanted to return to the main screen. I said yes and it reloaded... and i got the same message.
I tried installing burnout on the hard drive, hoping it would clear that problem up. It did, and all seemed fine. I went into the game, got the intro video and my learner's permit. However, when I selected my car (Cavalry), my system displayed a "disc read error" and booted me out. This was weird because, like i said, the game was on the hard drive. I tried playing again, and got the error message at the same spot.
I have no burnout dlc, save the 1.9 update, so is this a glitch, or a bad disc creating a bad install?
